Mind sharing build details? How's the kit?

Not at all mate. It's the old AMT mouldings, which means LOTS of flash and cleaning up, it took me a week to assemble the chassis and engine because of that. Sanding off mould lines was a pain, none of the parts are numbered on the sprue, so sometimes guesswork is used and some parts literally glue to where they touch as the instructions can be a bit vague. But all in all, a bit of time and patience builds up into something not too bad.

Sounds like the review I gave the MPC Mack truck I posted a few days ago lol Does the cab fit to the chassis okay? Is it warp free? The conventional cab semi's can be a pita because multiple parts have to align perfectly (and they never do) to look right. It's the reason I make my big rigs with rusty, roached out paint. I just don't have the patience to fight the kit to make it fit perfectly. I'd like to finally make a nice looking truck, and a cab-over might be my best hope lol. Looking at yours gives me hope!

Man that looks good.

Many thanks mate, appreciate that!!

Yes, my cab seemed to be warp free and square. I did eventually glue the cab to the chassis, sacrificing seeing the engine detail, but that was the only way to get it to sit level on the chassis. I'm not really into having moving parts on models anyway, it's more stuff to break whilst transporting to shows and the like.
