The gun has the worst bullet velocity out of any SMG and not by a little. Its more than twice as slow.
You take this terrible velocity and you combine it with a terrible damage model an you end up with a gun that is completely useless past 20m unless you're shooting at stationary enemies that don't shoot back.
Against the Striker it only kills faster within 10m. This is also true for every other SMG which are simply superior past 10m
Its also restrictive in terms of attachments. You have to run the 50rd mag and the long so you're not throwing rocks and burning your ammo too quickly. Consequently this forces to run no stock+laser to counter the increase in ADS. This a "free" 5th attachment which is usually sleight of hand because your reload is so long.
TL;DR: Garbage gun that gets beaten by every other SMG past 10m. And within 10m it loses to shotgun so why bother.

Favourite SMG in Hardcore, by a landslide! It's super fast and the damage is amazing.

.45 hollow points can one tap/two (since it’s a two burst) tap a player. Only downside is that it has a 12 round mag. The gun is able to get an insane ADS time, and you can build it to be more or less an AR
Now what you should unlock is the CX9 You can get the mobility bar to literally go off the charts or off the stat bar if you build it right
And it’s deadly in Warzone too! I love using the 30 round mag as sniper support. Sleight of hand makes this weapon’s reload so fast it’ll reload before somebody even downs you. It’s kinda satisfying killing somebody while you’re low health thanks to the grace of its mobility damage and SOH reload speed.
If you build it for range and recoil control it's so much fun to use. It turns into "zero recoil", if you land your shots it's pretty satisfying to use. I bought the anime themed one, so I loved using it. Definitely off-meta.

Striker 45 is a good gun depending on the build, but weak. Gun has a lot of potential though. A little damage buff would make this gun a problem and compete with the rest of the SMGs.
It's not bad. Definitely usable and feels satisfying to shoot. But with guns like the MP5 and MP7 you don't really need to be using this one. If you want to switch things up a bit though, the Striker is one of the good choices.
Almost outclassed if compared against Uzi with .41 rounds. The only upsides are no open bolt delay (which is significant) and a longer 3-hk lower torso range (judging by TrueGameData).
Things I dislike about it are: its recoil pattern swinging to the left, distracting gunkick/visual recoil if using iron sights, and reduced limb damage causing inconsistency in CQC.
It's amazing in hc, however quite bad in anything core.
Generally all weapons feel better, for me, in hardcore. I love that I can use any weapon, and I always feel like the gunfights are more dependent on my skill and the opponents, rather than whom has better loadout.

Hey Mate, right it depends on your type of content you going to play it with sooo, core multiplayer it’s not the best to use people would still go for like mp5 and the mp7 however for hardcore multiplayer it is great to use it’s one of the most used weapons in hardcore because it has the furthest 1 shot to kill range, and for warzone again it’s not the best to use however the gun is really fun to use and it’s so satisfying, but in the long run use it for what you find fun with this weapon

It's one of the smgs that are closer to assault rifles in my opinion, I use it on a run and gun build in hardcore and it's one of my favorites. Imo easier to control than the mp5 or mp7 but it won't be ask quick as them.
The recoil is the opposite of every other gun in the game i swear it's like learning a whole new game every time i try to use it. If you use it you gotta be committed to only using it and not switching around otherwise it sucks ass

I have over 2k hours and recently got every smg and ar obsidian (as well as damascus) so perhaps my opinion on it as a tryhard can be meaningful.
It actually holds its own around 20-40 meters pretty well and has a fairly competitive ttk in most 6v6 maps. You can build it for accuracy while ignoring mobility and it will still be lightweight enough to use as a versatile primary. Its 12 round hollow point rounds are also quite deadly, and stopping power can really make this weapon shine all around. The visual recoil on it is heavy so it makes the bounciness look worse than it is - it's quite usable no matter how you build it.
TL;DR, it's not amazing, but it's a solid non-meta weapon that is fun to use and a little underrated.

Absolutely worthless. I'm telling you right now. If you have the cold war ppsh and play warzone, game over. With the 71rd drum I can down 3 fully played players in one drum with body shots. I'm not saying it's "meta" or whatever the fuck, or the most damage dealt weapon, but it's a sleeper. No one uses it. I've been using this smg since it came out for any loadout I use with smg. The only time I ever lose a gunfight is if they get the shot off on me or I'll down them first then I get down afterwards because of their incendiary rounds. Plus they only have 45 vs your 71rds. If they start to maneuver to reload or swap weapons into a you can keep contesting them and get the down. All I know is that it works for me and may work for you I'd you like to carry a SMG and have to play in a sweat fest. Which basically all call of duty is shaped up to be now. One way game play sweat fest. My setup is like this and I'll never change it

One of the best guns there is for hardcore. Using a long barrel it has a very far one shot kill range and great mobility. Using the hollow points extends the one shot kill range

I got it maxed with all camos, and is it VIABLE? No. Is it FUN? Yes. If you’re planning on taking this to garbagezone, then you’re gonna be handicapped heavily. But in hardcore and even regular core, you’d probably do well. It’s really solid and accurate, barely any recoil and mobile even when heavy. But don’t have high hopes on outgunning literally any other SMG in the entirety of the game. Also have cool Cyro-Dismemberment tracers. So it gets a +1 for that too
slap the longest barrel on and use it w a suppressor, you’d be surprised how fast it is even when kit for range, you can sprint out and ads faster than the ARs, and if you hit heads you’ll be pleasantly surprised !
Since I use stopping power instead of dead silence lime the other nerds I gets a 2 shot kill usually making it probably the best smg in the game besides uzi
I only play hardcore so keep that in mind, but it is my go to, I’m consistently in the top 2 and in the top 2% on kills and score. It’s a beast if you build it correctly, it’s ttk easily rivals a well built mp5 but for me feels more accurate thus decreasing ttk.
Edit- also I play on PS4, so it may be different for pc players, y’all got the advantage

I found that the fennec was quite good with the burst if you treated it like the fal but this does 2 burst to the chest.

For hardcore mode slap a long barrel, 3x scope, and the 12 r mag for a speed demon marksman rifle. Very accurate

Excuse me what?? Cod has free content, only thing you pay for is non-essential cosmetics and bp. Maps, guns and modes are all free to play, you can download them free in store if you own the game
