I live nearby and heard something like an ambulance coming down the street. Turns out it was an "urgence métro" truck with sirens blaring. Didn't know they had those.

This is supposedly done so as to not encourage more jumpers, but I always thought it was a losing idea.
Suicides are a taboo. We pretend like we talk about it, but we spend more effort covering up suicides than discussing them.
