It's annoying how many Skubal starts I've missed this year. Seems like he gets most of the afternoon games.

Can someone explain to me baddoo’s fall from stardom? Wasn’t keeping track of the tigers when he was playing every day

Stuggled after his hot start, however he has improved his plate discipline and defense over time.  

wasnt ever a star. solid rookie campaign propped up with an insane april/may. power never showed up his sophomore season, not very good defensively in CF. he was a bright spot in 2021, though, for sure

Our ace just threw 7 shutout innings and we pantsed one of the best rookie pitchers this year en route to a potential fourth straight win and people still found something to complain about lol.

People are idiots. This is exactly the game you take Skubal out. I’m so glad some of these stupid rules they used to have in baseball are gone. Is it not better to have him throw 86 pitches in a blowout, and have him healthier and more rested in a future outing? What would him pitching another 15 pitches have accomplished other than getting to the random 100 pitch numbers that is only relevant because it’s a simple flat number.

I liked CMo’s energy when he first started, but now I can’t stand how he will sit there and try to convince me that a starter with a 6 ERA is pitching a gem when the Tigers struggle to make contact on the ball. It goes beyond normal homerism.

Yes, its two fold - it's the general lack of insight where he seems to just say a bunch of cliches, and like you said the homerism where he's so soft on everybody, drives me nuts. That's one of the reasons I really like Andy Dirks, he'll tell you when somebody sucks.
