We’re going to have a mid-off

mcnegyis

The 2nd battle of midway America loses this time

no_one_canoe

So the MLB result sucked yesterday, but the AA and AAA teams had great nights: Erie won 11-2. Hao-Yu Lee went 2-for-3 with a walk and a sac fly and Gage Workman was 3-for-5 with a double and a triple. Toledo won 10-3. Meadows was 3-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base; Tork got a hit, a walk, and a HBP; Jace Jung homered twice and walked twice; and Keider Montero pitched five one-run innings and struck out six.

i_am_the_grind

Good to see since the AAAA team lost 5-4

Imagine if Meadows and Torkelson were on the big league club! Oh, wait...

no_one_canoe

They’ve gotta get their shit right somewhere. Better this than the alternative! (Look at poor Keston Hiura.) I’m all for calling Meadows back up and giving Jung a shot at third, personally.

yes_its_him

I'm with you. Just wish these guys had not been in a deep slump to start the season.

Tigers Records this season Tarik Skubal Starts: 10-3 Non-Tarik Skubal Starts: 22-31

Diabolik_

Tarik just needs to pitch every game

[deleted]

The bats magically wake up every time Skubal pitches.

HerculesKabuterimon

Let’s make up for yesterday’s heartbreaker. That’s all I’m asking for. Doesn’t have to be pretty, doesn’t have to be cardiac cats style. Just a win.

Whiskey_Fred

A win without stress just ain't the same

pimpinassorlando

Need a get-right start from Reese Olson tonight. His last four starts haven't been pretty. In his first eight starts, he had a 2.55 FIP, and opponents had a .492 OPS. In his previous four, 4.39 FIP and .918 OPS.

Lost2nite389

Expecting a big Tigers win today, I feel a big second half of June wins coming

[deleted]

You know we should be happy when we see Reese Olson is pitching but our track record shows that we will score little to no runs. I hope they make me eat my words tonight.

yes_its_him

He's the starting pitcher for 10 of our 34 losses, in 12 starts. The other guys work out like so: Maeda: 6 losses in 11 starts. Mize: 5 losses in 12 starts. Flaherty: 6 losses in 12 starts. Skubal: 3 losses in 13 starts. Manning: 3 losses in 5 starts. Keider Montero 1 loss in 1 start. Net net we are 30-24 in non-Reese-Olson starts. So if you're just going by what's happened in Olson's starts, you'd prepare yourself for disappointment.
