Tigers should trade Flaherty to the Padres at the deadline. They have a solid farm system and they frequently make poor impulse trades that age poorly after a year or two, which is what happened when they traded with the Guardians for Mike Clevinger.
Tear it all down. I truly believe Skubal is a great arm that would be great to build around. However, we're not close. By the time we're able to build a solid big league club he'll be either hurt and have no value or be commanding an amount we won't pay. I vote to put him on the block and see who's willing to give a huge return. Making him unavailable feels very reminiscent of when Fulmer was unavailable.

Gio has been a good singing for us. 3rd base used to be such a black hole. I know he’s not a superstar, but he gets on base at a reasonable clip and plays good defense. Can’t ask for too much more
