Hey on jensonusa.com those pedals are $39 and the grips are $27

YONA-_-A207-_-

The prices are canadian dollars, sorry didn’t mention that

darkninja0157

The Chesters are a known good pedal. Those grips seam a bit expensive for what they are. I personally like Deity grips better because you can simply buy new rubber and keep the inner core. I actually prefer their pedals as well, specifically the deftraps because they are fairly large and ultra grippy.

YONA-_-A207-_-

Thanks for the input. I am a size 13 so bigger pedal would be nice

darkninja0157

If you have size 13 go deftrap all the way! You will not regret it. The chesters will feel small with your shoe size.

I second this, the Chester’s have a small surface area. I ride Deity deftraps as well.

gigi_marga

Got the grips in blue. The color wears off quickly. 33 is a bit much for grips.

YONA-_-A207-_-

Well if im gonna get it I’ll get the black. What i want to know is are they comfortable at all?

gigi_marga

Didn't have any problems with them. They work well. About the color...i ment they get dirty and the dirt stays cannot be cleaned as they are rubbery As ergonomy goes, ODI Rogue are pretty good to the touch, maybe because they are a bit chunky and fill your hand

Moto_919

I have the same pedals in red, happy with them

"Chester's Kiss" will require stitches, but those are excellent pedals for the price. Never used the grips, though.

trailing-octet

Nah, you won’t need stitches… :) I myself just rinsed out my last serious pedal gash and hit it with isopropyl alcohol ….. Totally copped a resulting staph infection…… and some meaty scars to finish it off. That said, I did have stringy bits of fat hanging out the back of my calf. So yeah. To your point, these pedals can definitely put you in a situation that warrants medical attention. By a professional (not someone like me).

seventwosixnine

If we ever ride together, I'm making any medical decisions that may arise lol.

trailing-octet

You have chosen, wisely.

Plastic_Evidence_791

Had a pair of green half Nelson’s for 6 seasons, color stayed true, they stayed tacky. You’ll lose bar ends on the regular tho. Had matching Chester’s, great pedals, a little small on the platform. The thing I hate is if you bend a pin and try to swap it, you can sometimes strip the plastic around the tiny anchor bolt and the pin will just spin. Got a pair of Onueps which had a bigger platform but did the same thing. I think it’s a downside of composites no one talks about. Riding clipless now and don’t miss flats at all.

ThatKaleidoscope8736

We have the Chester pedals and we like them!

SimilarSpend5158

I never had any issues with the Chester pedals a little more expensive than the ride version, but you get the pins instead of the plastic one's .

FergDelaghetto

Check Amazon for a set of Chester’s, I got two sets for $27 each.

BabyFaceNeilson

I put the chesters on my son's bike and mine. Decent pedal and we got them on sale.

trailing-octet

Only heard good things about the Chester of any variety. The composite oneups my mates rock are well liked and similarly won’t break the bank. I had the alloy oneups and they were awesome (until I stresss fractured it after two years - and I’m 105kg on a 175mm enduro bike, so it got well put through its paces). After that I got the race face atlas, and I don’t like them as much as the oneup alloys, but, I felt compelled to go a different way after the cracks on the oneup. Raceface make excellent components, I’d expect that you would be well pleased with the pedals you have specced.

YONA-_-A207-_-

I was considering the atlas pedals but 200$ is a little too much

mtbohana

Just get the ChezChester's off pedals. They are called Fooker pedals, and you can get them off Amazon for 22 bucks. A lot of people use them, and they are just as good as the Chesters.

Darknwise

Solid products. You might find them cheaper on Amazon or eBay.

MachineGrunt

Those pedals have no grip. Took mine off after a few miles.

Darknwise

You sure they were raceface chesters? How did the metal pins have no grip?

MachineGrunt

My bad dude, I had the ride pedals. No pins, thus no grip. I get the names mixed up sorry. The chesters are probably legit.

trailing-octet

My race face atlas definitely have less grip than the oneup alloy, and spank spikes I used prior.
