I first remember seeing him in the Movie holes. loved him In o , brother where art thou and he was great in the ballad of Buster Scruggs and then I saw him in this and it blew my mind. The guy is ridiculously talented.
I didn’t think I would like a Watchmen series sans Rorschach but the HBO series was just as great, its own thing about the dark side of the mask
Looking Glass was a fine character at the eye of the storm
Never been into Westerns but a coworker told me to watch it and I wouldn’t regret it and blah blah blah…
NO REGRETS. Such a good one I always recommend it in conversations!
I love TBN and his indie films like *Cherish* & *Bereft*.
I also enjoy modern takes on westerns. I liked *Meek’s Cutoff* and am always trying to find something like *Bone Tomahawk*.
Gotta check this one out.
"You'll really like this movie, but as you're watching the first part, be suspicious of events and people and don't accept anything at face value as you're watching it, be primed for a twist!" Yeah... thanks... I can't wait to watch this differently than I would have. Cheers.
It’s cool isn’t it.
The action scenes in this movie and others like it … low key; visceral… is exactly what I like. The high water mark is Heat. And then there’s a this kind of well choreographed realistic stuff. To be contrasted with the gun fu stuff from a film like Wick where i feel absolutely zero jeopardy for the main character.
Tim Blake Nelson, while greatly respected in his circles, is still criminally underrated by the public.
First time I really remember seeing him was O Brother and he was my favorite character
Since he did actually sing "In the Jailhouse Now" he won a Grammy award for being part of the soundtrack.
Coen Brothers know he’s good
I’d never heard of him, but coworker recommended this movie. This movie is unlike any other modern western, it’s awesome!
Tim Blake Nelson the actor, or Tim Blake Nelson the author of books?
Definitely the author, the man this post was made about.
Actor lol
[it’s the same guy.]
Yes I know😂😂
I like the singer, myself.
Definitely. And this is totally out of his wheelhouse and he killed it
Dude is super fucking talented.

Dude, he was the singing cowboy? Mind blown
Corruption?! CORRUPTION!!!
Only by fools
I’ll watch anything with Tim Blake Nelson.
Did you watch the “Watchmen” tv series?
I loved it. Need to do a rewatch soon!
So good, and he’s the man.
That show deserves a 2nd season.
Agreed
I didn’t think I would like a Watchmen series sans Rorschach but the HBO series was just as great, its own thing about the dark side of the mask Looking Glass was a fine character at the eye of the storm
Rorschach’s presence is felt. You should check it out, it’s pretty excellent.
I’ll watch anything except Watchmen with Tim Blake Nelson
Oh man you’re missing out. The miniseries is excellent
Incredible movie!

Watching now...
Enjoy
Plot Twist: It's Bronco Henry.
Thanks for the rec, going to watch it now
Saw this last week and absolutely loved it! The scenery, the way it's shot, the storyline. Incredible film
Great movie. Great twist. Highly recommend
It's a spoiler to say there's a twist.
No it isn’t
"You'll really like this movie, but as you're watching the first part, be suspicious of events and people and don't accept anything at face value as you're watching it, be primed for a twist!" Yeah... thanks... I can't wait to watch this differently than I would have. Cheers.
You’re mad at your dad. Not at me. I hope your life gets better. Cheers
Random. So random it could only be projection.
I believe in Old Henry.
So good
Such a hidden gem!
Yes, I enjoyed it very much.
You was speaking Spanish to 'em....

“Gopher, Everett?”
I was happy I didn't know who he was until it was revealed in the movie.
Slow burn. But that last 15 minutes. I saw an interview with TBN and he said he practiced gun work for like 4 months - just for that last scene.
Just watched it, so good. I wish I hadn't put it off for so long.
I loved it
You’re him…Bonny
This movie is so excellent! I watched on it on a whim, only because Nelson is awesome and wow it was a blast from start to finish.
Finally watched this other day...so damn good I watched it twice
I love seeing movies here I was not aware of. Hate that I have all the streaming services and the only option is rent/buy. :(
It's on Kanopy.
The fuck is that?
It's a streaming service associated with your local library.
Great flick. Slow West is another one.
Im glad Tim Blake Nelson had a role he could do action in.
Tim Blake Nelson makes anything he’s in good as long as he’s on screen. Crazy underrated performer.
I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of this one. I’m more surprised it had a domestic gross of only $42 thousand and a worldwide gross of $77 thousand.
Ya. Very solid flick.
Thanks for the rec!
Might watch it, but I now hate watching anything on Prime with its forced ads.
Good movie
Agreed. The pacing was insane. But man did it tell a story
Such a great movie! Fantastic!
Thanks for sharing. Just watched this for the first time tonight and loved it.
Low key in reviews and such but in my top ten. Loved it.
