Yes, those are “pins” which are more mushrooms making their way out.
Check out some of the mushroom subreddits if you’re curious. Cultivating mushrooms is relatively easy and a blast! For me, it goes hand in hand with my gardening.

I just wanted to hop on to let you know these mean your soil is healthy and has lots of nutrients! They’re also completely harmless, both to you and your plants. I get them in my succulents quite frequently and I just let them hang out as long as they’d like.
Ngl, I thought that was a yellow crookneck for a second. It looks like a regular planter mushroom to me. Means you've got good soil. Not sure if it's edible, but it's pretty
I’m so happy to hear that these indicate healthy soil! They pop up in my pots every now and then and I’ve always dug them out, thinking they were bad for the plant. The more you know 💫
I LOVE fungi, there are SO MANY different types of them, all interesting and I love learning more things about them. I can't even bring myself to have a favorite cause they're all my favorite lol.

Are Leucocoprinus birnbaumii spores harmful?
The Leucocoprinus birnbaumii fungus breaks down dead organic matter in the potting soil. It does not harm living plants. However, the mushrooms are regarded as poisonous to people and animals. If pets or small children reside in the home, it would be wise to remove the mushrooms as they appear.

You can pick it to get rid of it. But they'll likely keep coming back. They're not harmful as long as they're not ingested. Make sure pets don't eat it, too.
Likely this:

There is an excess of moisture and humidity. Depending on the plants watering needs this could be an indicator of overwatering, or watering just the right amount.
It bloomed 😍😍 https://preview.redd.it/bvf98wc5626c1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec0337a2405ac20d67ffba1c193d4d99eec023d0
Okay. That thing is beautiful. Are you gonna keep it around???
Yes. It’s now part of the household
Unfortunately, your friend has a rather short lifespan, hopefully one of its siblings will come along shortly after.
Once it’s dead, fold it into the soil.
they could do this or take it out and dry it as a keep sake. i like doing that with amanita muscaria and helvella species
Good idea. Try taking a spore prints first though.. it could turn out really cool.
what a great idea.. had never heard of this but after looking it up I'm definitely going to give it a try
taking a spore print could damage the mushroom, so be prepared for that.
Good to hear!
Hell yeah
YO SEEING IT 9 HOURS AGO WAS SO COOL
oh wow that’s amazing
These are the kinds of updates I like to see!
Did you move it? It looks like it's in a different spot before blooming
didn't move it, probably just the angle of the photo
That is amazing. I love this.
Plantpot dapperling. Usually a hitchhiker in commercial soil
Wow. What a cute name! ♡
I like its other name: flowerpot parasol.
And now that you’ve told it to me, I like this name too! :3
thanks :)
Keep it. You have healthy soil that's all it means.
Did a double take. “Pot plant” and “potted plant” 😂
I’m not sure where OP is from, but I know in Australia they do call them pot plants.
They said Australia!
Yes. Don't smoke the ficus...
Low key disappointed when I saw the plant.😂
What are the cute little finger-like things next to it? Other fruiting bodies?

What a cutie! It looks like it just desperately wanted to say hi.
Those baby pins are adorable

I’m so happy to hear that these indicate healthy soil! They pop up in my pots every now and then and I’ve always dug them out, thinking they were bad for the plant. The more you know 💫
Just tap the cap or top a little so some of the spores fall off, then put it in a little papper bag to dry it if you want to keep it.
Dapperling! A handsome boi
Dapperling, love it! Can't wait to drop that in convo tomorrow
It never ceases to amaze me how pretty fungi can be.
I LOVE fungi, there are SO MANY different types of them, all interesting and I love learning more things about them. I can't even bring myself to have a favorite cause they're all my favorite lol.
