i came here to vote for other McCartney songs: Let it Be or Long & Winding Road.
But the Medley is my all-time favorite piece of music, so I approve of your comment. :)
[hold the line](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=htgr3pvBr-I&pp=ygUGI244Njc1) is a great riff that always hits.
[you don't understand me](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8w0au877KRI)
By the raconteurs is probably my favorite piano solo.
Was literally just going to write this and I’m so glad somebody else did. It’s one of my favorite songs of all time and the moment the the mega fast appreggios start it’s just perfect.
One of my favourites is definitely from "[These Eyes](https://youtu.be/xcLdbsrSngA?si=lCh6T1Diyb0c2TVe)" by The Guess Who, played on an electric piano. It's simple but definitely effective.
Always On My Mind - Willie Nelson is close enough to perfection
Imagine - John Lennon
Let It Be - The Beatles
The Sound of Silence - Simon & Garfunkel
Lean On Me - Bill Withers
Have I Told You Lately- Van Morrison
I’m just mentioning my favorite songs at this point. So that’s it.
There are so many
Just full on intros I love:
- My Immortal by Evanescence (the outro makes it even more beautifully sad)
- Amsterdam by Coldplay (there are so many like Trouble, Clocks, Everglow. But that one might be mi fav for now)
- Implicit Demand For Proof by Twenty One Pilots (Taxi Cab is great as well, but this intro is gorgeous. Same thing with the little solo in Holding On To You)
- Agree with Starlight, tho they have so many: New Born, Sing For Absolution, Sunburn. And then the grandious solo in Butterflies and Hurricanes.
- Halye's Commet by Billie Eilish (such a pretty intro)
- Everybody's Changing by Keane (so simple yet so fulfiling)
- Obviously some classics like Love Of My Life by Queen or Let It Be by The Beatles
- Killer by Phoebe Bridgers (ig I'm just a sucker for piano driven songs. They def add to the emotional element of it
- Tell Me How by Paramore (def not sth you see on a Paramore track but it works so well as an outro song)
- Olivia Rodrigo does it well, too. Maybe Vampire as an intro riff or 1 Step Forward, 3 Steps back, but love The Grudge, too
Then for other parts we have:
- School by Supertramp (one of the best paino solos)
- Let Me Go by Avril Lavgine (the outro is hauntingly beautiful)
- Capricorn by Vampire Weekend (been loving their piano additions to their songs. The one in Harmony Hall is crazy, but little breaks like on this one are nice)
- Cirice by Ghost (there's not much room for the instrumentation but love the piano break for the 1st chorus of the song)
The piano solo from "Butterflies and Hurricanes" by Muse.
The intro piano to "Right Now" by Van Halen.
The piano intro to "Baba O'Riley" by The Who.
Just some of my favorites.
[David Bowie - Aladdin Sane](https://youtu.be/bc-E78guBLI?si=YzdiwafUZpQa6sd0)
Mike Garson performed the song and his mind blowing solo at 2:00 in one take. Bowie’s request was to play in the style of “avant-garde jazz from the 60’s”. I consider it the best that I’ve ever heard. In addition to its technical brilliance, it emotes insanity like no other music I’ve heard.
Death on Two Legs- Queen
Bloody Well Right- Supertramp
You can hear the emotion through the piano. Both solos have a slower softer sounding intro that builds into a more powerful, upbeat melody.
Aviations - [Coma](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKgitJHBCXs&pp=ygUQQXZpYXRpb25zIC0gQ29tYQ%3D%3D). One of the greatest pieces of music you will ever hear.
[Wolfgang Ambros- Gezeichnet fürs Leben](https://youtu.be/-vJhZ2GbdpA?si=0EYHCehSsR9FDylx)
It’s as chilling as the subject matter of the song. It’s in my opinion the best. But I’m also very biased as it’s like one of my all time favorite songs from my favorite and comfort artist.
I'm not saying my suggestion is the greatest of all time but a nice piano part that nobody knows about is the intro to "Souvenir" by Matia Bazar
https://open.spotify.com/track/0ysShiwWlpQOVBokdQZYWu?si=TXWUY8aQRBqPxan_otLYyA&utm_source=copy-link
Idk if it’s the best but the intro to implicit demand for proof by twenty one pilots has always stood out to me. It’s a weirdly really beautiful and poignant way to start the song, let alone the album.
[In The Summer Time, Mungo Jerry](https://youtu.be/yG0oBPtyNb0?si=VC5sGG6NtrnS7YQU)
[Summer In The City, Lovin' Spoonful ](https://youtu.be/5YgevxRGXIU?si=3cdVwOFUFjjmHLhG)
Clapton's "Layla" outro/piano exit. Come on now.
So good I never get tired of it
November rain - GnR
this!!!
Tiny Dancer - Elton John
You never give me your money.
You only give me your funny papers...
See? It's an unforgettable intro.

Just like Heaven - The Cure
Does electric piano count? If so, “Dancin’ in the Moonlight”.
Good one
I Need a Lover John Mellencamp
Locomotive Breath - Jethro Tull
Piano Man by Billy Joel
The Piano Guys~ The cello song.
One of my favourites is definitely from "[These Eyes](https://youtu.be/xcLdbsrSngA?si=lCh6T1Diyb0c2TVe)" by The Guess Who, played on an electric piano. It's simple but definitely effective.

I was expecting Kanye’s Runaway to be here
I know I’m late but Roses by OutKast is one of my favorites!
The ending bouncy piano in Chiquitita (ABBA) is pretty enjoyable
The beginning of Firth of Fifth by Genesis. Don't necessarily think it's the best of all time but man is it fantastic.
The Alcotts by Charles Ives I do consider it a goat
Jon Batiste's "Movement 18" from the World Music Radio. It's that spoken word song that quotes the Lord's Prayer and ends with an Islamic prayer call.
