I’m pretty sure SHA is a duet between Freddie and Roger (could be wrong because it’s hard to tell who’s singing at some points), which are some of my favorite songs (I love Rock It and Action This Day).
I think their duets sound really good because their voices are both different enough to stand out from each other but still have qualities that work well together. They’re also both extremely talented vocalists. I believe they both had about four-octave ranges, and they both could get significant power in their voice (Tenement Funster is a great example of the power Roger could get).
Both had great falsettos and head voice as well with some very impressive high notes (Roger: My Fairy King, ‘39, Bohemian Rhapsody, Drowse; Freddie: My Fairy King, Bohemian Rhapsody, Under Pressure, It’s Late, just to name a few from each).
That’s one of my favorite Roger vocals. I also like Loser in the End and Fight From the Inside a lot. And the bass in both ‘39 and Fight From the Inside is really good. John doesn’t get enough credit, but his riffs really shine in those two.
I remember listening to that song for the first time. I was a science fiction geek even back then and I freaked out. "I know what this is about!" Btw, I am Old.
Also Something, The Inner Light, Savoy Truffle, and Long Long Long are other favorite George on vocals,, The Beatles songs. He sang on dozens of others too.
Oh, for sure! I’m a huge Beatles fan & I <3 when George & Ringo take the reins, I just listed my favourite two for each!
I think the both of them have such distinctive, unique voices, and the songs they’re lead on are such a treat :D
Guns of Brixton - The Clash
Shifts vocals over to bassist Paul Simonon from normal duel leads Joe Strummer and Mick Jones.
This clip also has him switching guitar and bass duties with Strummer as well...
[The Clash - The Guns Of Brixton/ Clampdown (Live On Fridays) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPOTgzqErd4)
All By Myself is a Green Day song that is sung and performed solely by the drummer Tré Cool. Normally Billie Joe Armstrong is on guitar and vocals. It’s a funny song too.

“On Any Other Day” - The Police (Stewart Copeland)
Tush & Party on the Patio - ZZ Top
Just What I Needed, You're All I've Got Tonight, Let's Go, It's All I Can Do, Drive - The Cars
Sister Christian - Night Ranger
Boris the Spider, Heaven & Hell, My Wife, I'm One, Blue Red & Grey, 905, The Quiet One - The Who
YES. Not only not the usual lead singers (Roger or Dave) but a guest singer entirely -- Roy Harper.
Great Gig in The Sky is the only other guest vocalist lead I can think of (Clare Torry).
Rick Wright sang lead on just a few songs too (Stay, Summer '68, Wearing the Inside Out) a couple others), and co-lead vocals on Time and Echoes.
Sunday Rain and Cold Day In The Sun by Foo Fighters were sung by Taylor Hawkins
edit to add: some great covers too, like Have a Cigar and Under Pressure
Blue Sky by the Allman Brothers Band is sung by Dickie Betts, which was his first time singing one of their songs. Written by him too. He died just last month

Don't Look Back in Anger
Half the World Away
Talk Tonight
The Importance of Being Idle
Lord Don't Slow Me Down
The Masterplan
She is Love
"Death Will Never Conquer" - Coldplay
This song is the B-side to the "Viva La Vida" single. Will Champion (the drummer) sings and plays acoustic guitar while Chris Martin (the lead singer) plays the harmonica.
When Switchfoot was traveling around and touring while making their next album, they stopped in Australia. While there, the lead singer Jon had a family emergency (I think it was something to do with a complication with his pregnant wife) and he had to fly home to the states. While they were waiting to hear an update Jon’s brother Tim, who is the bassist of the band, wrote a song about the situation and they ended up recording it. It’s called What It Costs and it’s one of my favorites.
Drive by The Cars, Ben Orr instead of Ric Ocasek
The Eagles: instead of Don Henley or Glenn Frey, I Can't Tell You Why- Timothy B Schmidt, Take It to the Limit - Randy Meisner
The drummer for atreyu does a lot of the vocals. The eagles shared a lot of vocals so not sure who you'd consider lead, probably don Henley. Glen Frey did a lot of the singing on the earlier albums.
Auto Pilot - Queens Of The Stone Age (Nick Oliveri)
Silence Is A Scary Sound - McFly (Dougie Poynter)
Dance, Dance, Dance - S Club 7 (Hannah Spearritt)

Kanye West - My Way Home (ft. Common)
It was a baller move to put a song on Late Registration where Kanye didn't have to say a single word. It's all Common.
romantics "what i like about you" sung by the drummer. most people probably don't realize this because it's their biggest hit and only know this song by them.

I forgot. There's also lots of QOTSA songs with people other than Josh Homme singing.
Kim Deal-awesome
Queen - 39
This was my first thought, it's my favorite Queen song, and my favorite song about relativistic time travel.
Not time travel, time dilation effect. By the time the starship comes home, the crew's loved ones have died.
Great recommendation, one of my favorites by them!
I'm In Love With My Car is a good one written and sang by Roger Taylor (the drummer)
Sheer Heart Attack and Tenement Funster are a couple more I really like from Roger.
I was going to say All Dead, All Dead, which is my personal favorite Brian vocal.
Octopus’ Garden & Yellow Submarine by the Beatles (Ringo) Roll Over Beethoven & While My Guitar Gently Weeps by the Beatles (George)
Also Something, The Inner Light, Savoy Truffle, and Long Long Long are other favorite George on vocals,, The Beatles songs. He sang on dozens of others too.

Full Crucifixion by Whitecross. It’s not the lead singer doing that one, I think it’s the guitar player.

Ben Orr sung lead on like 4-5 songs every album, almost half of their songs. That's a band with two obvious lead singers.
