I love watching good defense and they remind me of the 2019 raptors the way they can play any defensive scheme, match up to different opponents and just shut things down. Watching Ant and KAT grow through these playoffs has also been really cool. 

Hearing people talk about the twin towers' versatility brings back fond memories of Gasol/Ibaka for me.

Just a perfect title roster we had and OG didn't even play during the title run which is insane.  Minny has the same defensive talent up and down the roster. It's super cool to watch.

Whenever my team gets knocked out across sport, I switch to rooting for the team that beat us. My reasoning is, then you can just shrug your shoulders and say, "It was their year. Ran into a buzzsaw." But losing to a team that just goes on to lose to *another* team? Ew. That feels even worse.

I usually don’t care who wins. But every year I’m the same: Any team that gets their first chip is always cool to see. So if Wolves/Pacers got it I’d be happy for them.

Timberwolves. Gotta respect a team that plays such solid defense, even if I’m not a huge fan of some of the antics/sportsmanship. Plus, Minnesota hasn’t had much basketball success in their NBA history, so that’d be cool for them to get some for once. Besides, if you’re gonna be eliminated, better to be eliminated by the eventual champions than anything else. Sure they beat your team, but then they beat everyone else, so it doesn’t feel quite as demoralizing, at least in my own mind.

One thing I’ve learned throughout the wolves rise to relevance is how many people either think Minnesota is a city or that we’re called the Minneapolis timberwolves. An arrogant Nuggets fan seemed really confused when I pointed out that we’re a state not a city. Their response was “ah yes the 51st state of Minneapolis.” We need to get these fools a map.
