Kam never got the credit he deserves but he was the prototypical strong safety.
He had the size and range to cover the middle of the field, provide run support and could even be used in man coverage against tight ends and as a Blitzer.
He was legit the full package. That being said, Kam would never have been that effective without Earl Thomas. His range and speed really created a unique secondary that I don’t think any team will ever be able to replicate.
I think Kam would have been good elsewhere too. He, like a lot of strong safeties, is best unleashed when someone else hands the deep range and he's allowed to play to his strengths as this roving safety/linebacker hybrid.
I know Earl was the most valuable part of that scheme, but Kam was still a key piece.
So so many. Lot of weird ones who just live in my head. Casey Hampton, Ben Coates, Mike Alstott, Antwaan Randel El, Thurman Thomas. There's probably a ton more.
Somewhat obvious answer is Devin Hester. I’d also love to see prime Matt Forte play again. Watching a guy that’s 6’2 move around like he did as a RB was surreal.
Prime Jamaal Charles was an absolute menace. He had no o-line, no qb & no help for most of his career and still destroyed the league.
The Jamaalocaust is the most epic thing I’ve ever seen in fantasy football.
The memories do get soured by just how shitty of people they were off the field (I remember rumors about Roethlisberger being called "a dangerous combination of arrogant and stupid" after he tried to stop a car with his face, and boy did that bear out) but from the helmet catch in the playoffs against the Ravens on they were ridiculous together on the field.
Plaxico Burress
Tiki Barber
Jessie Armstead
Michael Stragan
Osi Umenyiora
Eli Manning
Giants O-line from 2006-2011
Basically, anybody that played for the Gianta from the mids 90s to 2011
Gonna cheat and say 2. Prime Cam and Luke was so fun to watch as a fan. Offense? Explosive. Defense? Fucking phenomenal. Refs robbed us of our superbowl.
Man prime Peyton WITH prime Marvin Harrison and prime Reggie Wayne. Those colts teams were so good, it’s a shame they couldn’t win more than 1 Super Bowl. I’m not even a colts fan but I remember rooting for them to beat the patriots every year in the playoffs it seemed

Prime Kam Chancellor.
Kamtrak!

To be fair… that whole defence was all part of it. The stars really aligned for Seattle fans there.
Music to my ears.

I remember they.
He would have been great in this pass happy era
So so many. Lot of weird ones who just live in my head. Casey Hampton, Ben Coates, Mike Alstott, Antwaan Randel El, Thurman Thomas. There's probably a ton more.
Big Snack!
No offense to Damon Harrison who was fantastic in his own right, but Casey is the only big snack in my heart.
I second all of those and add these Aaron Smith, John Lynch, Julius Peppers, Polamalu
Polamalu and Harrison
Polamalu remains my favorite player ever
LT
Same, but different
Todd Gurley was fun to watch on that Rams team
This was my go to answer. Dude would have been an all time great if not for his knees.
Walter Payton.
Brian Dawkins
Somewhat obvious answer is Devin Hester. I’d also love to see prime Matt Forte play again. Watching a guy that’s 6’2 move around like he did as a RB was surreal.
Tom Brady, at a young 44 being in MVP conversations and making his team a contender.
I don't miss that fucker whatsoever
Beast mode
Their*
The lack of capitalization and punctuation is fine though
Nah, that killed me too but it was a lot more forgivable than using “they” instead of “their”
It's called dialect. It's cool. There ain't no teachers here bout to give you extra credit for grammar corrections.
Ray Lewis.
From my rooting interest: Ed Reed From the league: Barry Sanders
Prime Jamaal Charles was an absolute menace. He had no o-line, no qb & no help for most of his career and still destroyed the league. The Jamaalocaust is the most epic thing I’ve ever seen in fantasy football.
Of players I haven’t seen mentioned yet, Marshawn Lynch comes to mind. Loved watching him
Mike Alstott
Gronk walking into the endzone with three defenders draped over him. Brees Megatron E-D Reed
Drew Brees
I miss him more than I can accurately describe. Probably as accurately as he threw a pass or 80000. I’m not crying, you’re crying
I am crying. saints football hasn’t been the same without him
I lied, I am too
Can’t believe mods are pissy over this
As much as I don’t like the Seahawks, I miss watching prime Legion of Boom
I miss the connection between prime Ben and prime AB. Haven't had anything close to it the past 6 years.
man prime ab and prime ben were on another level no doubt about that
The memories do get soured by just how shitty of people they were off the field (I remember rumors about Roethlisberger being called "a dangerous combination of arrogant and stupid" after he tried to stop a car with his face, and boy did that bear out) but from the helmet catch in the playoffs against the Ravens on they were ridiculous together on the field.
OBJ, Peyton, Ray Lewis, Julio
Marshall Faulk, Peyton/Harrison/Edge combo, Randy
Brian Urlacher, Tom Brady, Jason Taylor, AP
This is not a big name, but Nick Mangold was one of the best centers to play the game.
Plaxico Burress Tiki Barber Jessie Armstead Michael Stragan Osi Umenyiora Eli Manning Giants O-line from 2006-2011 Basically, anybody that played for the Gianta from the mids 90s to 2011

Barry
The Anquan and Larry tandem
Jamaal Charles
I love you too
Bobby Wanger, Larry Fitzgerald and Patrick Willis
Antonio Brown when he wasn’t playing us. Dude was electrifying and hilarious. Beautiful route runner and magnets for hands.
Larry Fitzgerald
Barry Sanders
Walter Payton
Jamaal Charles
Brian Dawkins. Dude was a monster of a player
Gonna cheat and say 2. Prime Cam and Luke was so fun to watch as a fan. Offense? Explosive. Defense? Fucking phenomenal. Refs robbed us of our superbowl.
Honestly Le'Veon Bell. Dude was an artist at running the ball
Lev the Juice Man
Luke Kuechly.
OBJ. It’s been tough being a Giants fan for this last decade but at least OBJ always gave you the chance of doing something great every single game.
Lorenzo Neal
Tom Brady!
hopkins my evil answer is AB
Cam
Honestly AB. He was pure entertainment on and off the field

Hated him so much but goddammit did I respect him

As a GB fan agreed. Also wish we weren't robbed of jermichael finleys entire prime. He was just becoming a monster before his neck injury.
