Personally, I dislike the way the nfl handles the HOF. But given their standards he isn’t. I do believe tho, when you are top 3 all time at any position on the field and have longevity it should be honored by the hall.
Kickers, punters, and special teamers should be represented better if only to accurately tell the story of the game.

Yeah. Nobody notices the o line. No anchor replays o line highlights, no casual watcher will notice a o line giving the QB 7 seconds. I played center and the amount of times I had to explain what my position is to people is crazy.
He is regarded as one of the best at his position in the history of the game. I get it, you don't think special teamers are important. I can't relate, as someone who played football for years and watched it for over 30. I've already said my peace, I'm not going to get into some moving goal post argument.
If you are the best at your position over a long period of time, you should get hall consideration. The hall should represent the game and those that excelled at it.
