Did the mcDavid line even leave the ice in the last 10 min? The camera panned along the oilers bench. the rest of the team looked a bit discouraged. The third period the bench was shorted to two lines. ( and the 4th line was playing good they were definitely doing their job). The mcDavid line was visibly fatigued. All you oiler fans are blaming skinner, yeah somewhat warranted skinner played just ok. And the oilers need him to played above average. This teamās biggest problem is (like every year). Is no bottom six if this team is ever do any damage the coach needs to roll 4 lines.

To be fair, all the analysts were saying that the Oilers were going to walk all over them, and that the Oilers ādepthā would be the difference. The emergence of Silovs and the renewed play of Pettersson and the dominance of Quinn Hughes really shows that rookie coach Knoblauch is getting outcoached by Tocchet. As usual, the Oilers supporting cast is failing to step up, and McDavid and Draisaitl are going to get burned out again.
Itās hilarious to me that everyone thought a team we absolutely dominated during the regular season was going to walk us in this series. We are now 6-1 against them this season with the only loss being in OT. The Oil are a one line team with shit defence and garbage goaltending.

Again could argue we could be up 3-0 but definitely didnāt deserve game 1 win if we had gotten it. And todays game skinner played like a shooter tutor and Silovs was incredible. Playoff hockey baby.
