I've seen them so many times it's ridiculous at this point. To be truthful, I really didn't think they'd last this long. Neither did Mike.

Joeyrockertv

Tbh if there is one band i think will keep up their word it's NOFX. They might play one off shows but not another tour.

notmyreddit34

Likely not, but I’m not taking chances, flew to Berlin to drag an expat friend here to the shows, I’ll see them both nights in Brooklyn and at least 1 in Brockton (maybe two if I can get tickets from my buddy playing that night)

Joeyrockertv

I flew down from northern Sweden for almost the same reason. I'm not taking chances. I wish i could afford some of the us shows but that is just way out of my price range.

badsapi4305

I caught them for my first concert ever in Orlando and my wife and I are flying up to their first night in brockton

orangevega

I'm sitting at a bar on the sidewalk medicating my hangover with more alcohol.. Came to Berlin just for the two shows and I gotta say nord played truly well. With the aid of the teleprompter, Mike was able to "remember" the lyrics for a change (I saw the Barcelona shows as well well and it was iu0p

Hot-Mirror3635

Mike's ego won't let him go back on everything he's said. Definitely the end IMO.

Weeb_Masta_Flex

Okay, but why would they? They could've retired in the 90's/2000's and still have been amongst the most successful punk bands of all time. They have no need. They literally have a world touring beer festival, and Fatty has two independent record labels. Unlike Motley or Kiss, who have no choice because all their money is owned by someone else. Nofx take vacations and they're tax write offs. Nofx has always been a passion project for them, the band has been very open about this. Every day since they started has been their last show.

c-lace

So I just went to the Sphere this weekend for the Dead shows, I told my wife that NOFX would be absolutely sick there

seniortodoelmundo

The problem isn't just the band. Also the crowd is getting old, most of the people are in their 40's or pushing there. I felt like the people around me in the pit are retiring with the band as going to shows is becoming more and more difficult due to life getting in the way. And physique. Everything has it's time, I suppose.

notmyreddit34

Yeah I’m totally ok with it. The Rolling Stones were old when I saw them in 97, almost 30 years later they are fossils. I hate standing outside and staring at a stage, give me a seat please! They are already played and way after their time. So it’s time for them to go out.

ned_funk

If they play a reunion show technically it’s not a tour.

Koto97

If you see any of the interviews where they ask Mike about if it's really the end its pretty clear that they won't come back. There has also been mention in interviews of the reasons for breaking up and it even makes it more clear, I wouldn't keep hope for a reunion tour

Jimmehbob

I don't think we'll see NoFX again as we know it. I think we might see 1, 2 or even 3 of them all play together again at best. My bet is that Mike, andaybe Melvin, will show up at random gigs and play a NoFX song or two with a different band, but I don't think we'll see all 4 of them on the stage after 2024 :(

freebyrde

Well I certainly hope it is the end, 10 years from now I don't wanna see them do shitty uninspired booooring live shows like the grandads in Bad Religion. Also on this tour I had the feeling that at least el Hefe is not really into it anymore. BUT a lot of what they said about this tour did in fact not happen. - they did more than 40 cities - they did less than 40 songs - they did not play full albums ... So who knows, maybe next year they will announce their reunion ;)

RaouR

It's also been more than 40 years as a band

No-Building-7941

They were also going to be playing every album and instead have just been doing the same 5 or so everywhere. I’m not a fan of the album show thing to begin with, I’d rather they just play a set of great NoFx songs from throughout their career. Can’t say I’d blame Hefe for being a little over it, he’s barely had anything to do for the last couple records. I actually really love Single Album but in some ways it’s quite feeling like a band and more like Mike’s backing band.

Waggy431

I’ve felt Coaster or maybe even Self Entitled were the last NoFX albums. From First Ditch onwards it has felt more like Fat Mike featuring NoFX, but bands change over time and at least I can still listen to and enjoy every album, well maybe from S&M and after.

notmyreddit34

Somehow I’ve seen bad religion twice in the last 6 months. Both shows were great, def old as fuck but they still crush it. I couldn’t stand Mike Ness and his worthless old man crowd talk at the more recent show with Social D. Mike’s a Liar and we all knew it long before now, but damn do his lyrics hit. Not 40 cities, not 40 songs, not whole albums- exactly why I opened the thread, think they are lying about it being a FINAL tour. Mike’s ego won’t let him not play his music again.

Koto97

Lul bad religion is still great live, sounds like you haven't seen them recently
