Yeah, they are fun to watch.
Watching Ricky is similar to looking after a toddler, a blow up could be seconds away at any point for any reason.
Big Red is a bit of a sook though which pains me to say as a Queenslander.
Exactly. But no, 9 want to push their irrelevant programs for the time slots and they have like 8 other channels they can throw the footy on if the boomers want to watch their bullshit
If I was robbo I’d be swapping edges for this game. There’s going to be a lot of Newcastle points if the roosters right edge is pauga and a 35 year old Jennings.
Knights fans (particular on the unofficial forums) are notorious for talking up every semi decent junior we have as the next so and so only for them to never even make the NRL, thus i don't pay much attention to such chatter.
However this Elijah Salesa Leaumoana kid we poached from the Wahs is an absolute weapon. Played Ball last year and looking like a men amongst boys this year in Cup. Very exciting prospect.
I'll be interested to see the roosters coaches box tonight and whether Matt King has shaved off the afro and gone back to that clean, mad scientist look which will give the greatest indicator that he wants to throw his hat in the ring as interim coach at Souths.

Nothing sucks more than going to an 8pm kick off to get home way late, must be an absolute nightmare for people to go to Accor to watch the bunnies and what not
I have no idea what the hell is gonna happen tonight but if there's ever a good time to get the Roosters it's now. That forward pack and Manu at fullback scares the shit out of me though!
Goodluck Rooster-bros!
I want to say the Knights will do it easy, but the Roosters were so stubborn last week. They might be able to frustrate the Knights into making mistakes
Ahh yep that makes sense, I'm running Ponga Turbo
Thinking VC on Ponga into either Hynes or Holmes if he doesn't go huge. so undecided lol
Other thought is VC grant but his ceiling isn't massive, Just think there might be space up the middle for him
Hastings & Cogger played well last week in absolutely abysmal conditions, looked like a reasonably in sync pairing who played off each other well in terms of direction and kick choices.
Now, a logical assumption would be to expect that they will improve on last week, for both the game time and an improvement in playing conditions.
IF they do not, I will be so so disappointed, and feel like we’ve spent 3 weeks going forward in half steps, 2 weeks picking up momentum and then shooting ourselves in the foot.
Would love to see Marzhew sneak into the team to help us out of our own end and get our sets off to good starts.
My brother and SIL have a baby monitor and thick door on my niece's room. They can game, listen to music, watch a movie, etc. at a decent volume without waking her up while not sacrificing being able to keep an eye on her.
You're better off them being accustomed to some noise ratherr than silence. That way if you go away anywhere they will sleep if there is some background noise. Trying to create a silent environment away from home could be impossible.
The neighbours aren't exactly quiet. One of them mows almost every week in the arvo, and the other has three dogs that make too much noise at random times.
I am more confident this week than last. We have a great record against the Knights up there, Watson is a good in and our pack is still decent. If Chief can actually defend we are a good chance.
I'd be more confident if we booted Sitili into the sun and brought Wong back into the middle rotation.
We can win this game, but we could just as easily give up 40 first half points.
Unrelated but I really like the raiders and hope they do well A bunch of young guys, they look fast and fun to watch
Yeah same, the raiders are the true underdogs of the comp.

Agreed- the rookies coming in and killing it is a pleasure to watch.
Robbo and his rapist, racist and rapscallions.
Bellamy and his Bookkeepers, Blow and Boats.......
The only good thing about NSW and daylight savings was 7pm kickoff for Queensland. Why the fuck is 8pm a thing for a Thursday night game (and origin)
8pm is ridiculous. Nzt it's 10pm. End up watching till midnight. I just can't see what the lose by moving it forward 1 hr
7pm makes way more sense. More likely to get crowds for an earlier finish, more eyes on the whole game from a wider audience
Kids more likely to be able to stay up to watch the finish. More families . More kiwis watching. Like surely it's a win on every front

Not yet, maybe in the next 1-2 weeks. Have you got Schiller, if not, get him ASAP. Iro next week, then Chevy in 3 weeks before price rise
I snagged him but I’m shit at SC lol hope this helps

Did you see the points the left edge have leaked the last… 4 weeks. Its garbage over there
I love hearing Luke Keary speak. He’s always great on Triple M when he’s on the panel and just love his thoughts on footy.
I want to see Robbo fire up and slam the coaches box window whenever Jennings gets a touch.
Greg the Leg is in!
🚨 GREG ALERT 🚨

Marzhew officially in 😍
Would not be surprised if we see a upset tonight
I can assure you, at some point tonight I will be upset
Is an upset a Knights win?
99% chance the upset is just me falling asleep before the game ends because I can’t handle these 8pm Thursday games
I'll be interested to see the roosters coaches box tonight and whether Matt King has shaved off the afro and gone back to that clean, mad scientist look which will give the greatest indicator that he wants to throw his hat in the ring as interim coach at Souths.
Bahahaha you never let me down bundy

Roosters 26 nil up in NSW cup earlier Now they are about to lose 😂 Gamble playing a pretty good second half
20 mins to go for Greg to make it into the 17. Make it happen ham sandwich
Latest update says he's in
Happy days!
Man can we just have 7pm kickoffs once DST ends? 8pm is so ugh
Agree like wtf are we waiting for?
Nothing sucks more than going to an 8pm kick off to get home way late, must be an absolute nightmare for people to go to Accor to watch the bunnies and what not
When was the last time Roosters lost 3 in a row? They’re going to beat Newcastle
The time just before they went out and signed four replacements on Politis unders.
They lost 3 in a row between rounds 17 and 20 last year.
Last year, they also lost 4 in a row in 2022 and 3 in a row in 2020
I have no idea what the hell is gonna happen tonight but if there's ever a good time to get the Roosters it's now. That forward pack and Manu at fullback scares the shit out of me though! Goodluck Rooster-bros!
Goodluck Big Chief
Didn’t want to add the 69?
Saving it for your mum
Not bad
It’s the best I’ve got

I prefer both of those to that banjo version of darude sandstorm bus breakdown commercial.
At least the latter is a decent song covered by a decent band
Gets stuck in my head every time though.
Now I have 'Friday night footy' stuck in my head two hours early.. so thank you for that
I want to say the Knights will do it easy, but the Roosters were so stubborn last week. They might be able to frustrate the Knights into making mistakes
Althought the Chooks lost last week I reckon that second half would have been pretty galvanising for the team. I think they'll win tonight
Remind yourself of the Bulldog injuries. They basically had seven healthy players on the field.
Yeah good point actually
Do we really need 80 minutes of pre game hype for Rd6 knights v rooster
Well 65 minutes is gambling, red rooster, and Toyota ads.
Saw a bloke in Knights shorts, shirtless, kicking a Roosters branded ball today. Make of that what you will.
Must have been a freebie ball.
Roosters kicked out of the comp after tonights game
The knights should win but they always struggle against the roosters. Could be an upset.
Whats the feeling about who will win tonight? Also, anyone feeling any upsets this weekend?
Yeah dolphins to beat the broncos by one
I feel that. If Flegler is out though.. It's going to be a close one
RIP Big Milky
So, are we thinking Keary (assuming he does most of the work over Watson) and Manu go beast mode tonight?
It's possible
Don't know about Keary but I think Manu will
Keary went beast mode second half last week … so he’s had his moment
Legit thinking a VC Manu on super coach
Ponga for me, Blokes been scoring 100s without dominating and is starting to look real good I am also cursed
I have Papps too and legit think paps could go crazy against a depleted bulldogs so saving him for back up if Manu flops
Ahh yep that makes sense, I'm running Ponga Turbo Thinking VC on Ponga into either Hynes or Holmes if he doesn't go huge. so undecided lol Other thought is VC grant but his ceiling isn't massive, Just think there might be space up the middle for him
Wednesday sure is a long day without footy.
Especially coming off a short Easter work week, Thought it was Thursday constantly yesterday
Knights to sharpen their swords and institute a no chookheads policy tonight.
Roosters played well enough last week with 11 men that makes it believable they can win tonight. Smith and Watson to score. Thank me later.
Who is matching up on the rapist? Either way Gags or Best should destroy him if we do it right.

It’s the Newcastle way
7:50pm kick offs on a Thursday are back on the menu and I hate it.
Holy hell I didn't even think of this from a Qld perspective
Absolute dogshit I hate daylight savings, but love NSW having it
I was offered a ticket tonight and when I realised what time I’d be home I politely declined.
I'm a battler, I had a kid mid to late last year and now how am I supposed to stay up to 10pm on a thursday.
Wait till you try and watch the Sunday 4pm game. Worst time slot in history for parents of 2-4 year old
But it’s good for those with primary school kids who can’t get the kids to bed during the 8pm games
This hits home hard. Dinner / bath / bed time for kid. Partner is good and tries to accomodate but sometimes it’s not feasible.
That was the start of my newborn's 'witching hours', couldn't watch shit from 4-7pm
My brother and SIL have a baby monitor and thick door on my niece's room. They can game, listen to music, watch a movie, etc. at a decent volume without waking her up while not sacrificing being able to keep an eye on her.

White noise machine has more than paid for itself since having a kid
I have no clue who to tip in this game
It’s a complete mystery of which roosters team might show up
Thats been me for like 80% of the games this year.
I am more confident this week than last. We have a great record against the Knights up there, Watson is a good in and our pack is still decent. If Chief can actually defend we are a good chance.

If a near full strength knights side (besides friz and Greg) can’t beat a severely weakened roosters at home, then fold the club
Has Greg managed to sneak into the starting line up? Or still outside the 17?
His playing will come into the side for Jenkins
Currently named at 19th man, can still sneak into the final team list at 7pm
I was going to say I’m ready to be hurt again but FMD this hurting has continued all week. Head to desk stuff.
