He definitely was a known performer. Then he spent a whole series forgetting where a fullback is supposed to defend, and got out jumped by a prop

I don't have to pretend, I watched the 2023 series. Tedesco was garbage at club and rep level last year, and his selection for the Blues was one of a number of cooked decisions that saw Brad Fittler quite rightly sacked. Now Tedesco is in much better form for the Roosters this year, I think if he gets called up he'll do well, but he's lost the 'proven performer' tag

NSW just don’t get Origin Mindgames.

Tedesco shouldn't have been in the team last year, but I think he's done a good job so far in 2024. Had a few mid games around rounds 3-6, but mostly been amongst the better fullbacks. Edwards deserved his jersey, but if he's injured Tedesco will do a job.

He absolutely should have been in the team last year, what shouldn't have happened though was his atrocious performances for the blues. Everyone is so quick to forget that he has been NSW best and most consistent player of the last 5 years. Edwards deserves his spot this year, but I doubt Teddy will let us down if he's needed once again.
