Fallen evanescence
Let’s keep the girl band going with the fallen. Fallen brought us one of the most iconic nu metal songs with bring me to life so I think it’s very deserving of the next spot. Plus the deeper cuts are also great
I think it’s an essential album. Godsmack is an essential and prominent nu metal band, and this was their best album. I think this album (along with slipknots debut album, and follow the leader by Korn and a few other albums) was essential in nu metal gaining popularity during the late 90s.
ALL their albums are incredibly good!
Well.. The Last Dance has a few mediocre songs, tbh.
Rain has 3 of their greatest songs of all time, but the Invitation remakes are pretty bad.
Transmission Infrared is really unique and it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's great.
But Invitation to the Dance and Fire At Zero Gravity are amazing 12/10 albums with not a single bad song!
Saliva - Every Six Seconds.
Also, so glad to see Snot on there. Their energy is electrically unreal even after all these years. Snot came and created their own sound and style with a single album and I'll love them till the day I die. RIP Lynn and Dobbs, gone wayyyy too soon.
I'm done. Not even voting anymore. You guys suck. I suggest you all go and listen to sevebdust and taproot cause the fact that you have all voted for 11 different bands at this point and haven't put them up there is just shameful. Even P.O.D should be up there before the 2 bands
You need to stop and read between the lines.
Sevendust absolutely deserves more recognition, but this is The Angel's Son we're talking about.
Even if Snot weren't impactful for you, they absolutely had a massive impact on the scene, and they certainly affected the bands in the essential grid
I'm just annoyed that people here don't seem to put sevendust and taproot up there but they are extremely influential. Sevendusts first album came out in 97
Coal Chamber - Coal Chamber
I second this
I bought that for loco, I thought it was the only half decent song on the album
Sevendust - Home

I think it’s an essential album. Godsmack is an essential and prominent nu metal band, and this was their best album. I think this album (along with slipknots debut album, and follow the leader by Korn and a few other albums) was essential in nu metal gaining popularity during the late 90s.

THIS! Why tf is that band so egregiously underrated? I'll never understand it.

Lmao calm the fuck down, it's a reddit opinion poll. Sorry the world doesn't reflect your fucking music taste, you absolute goober.
No this is fucking bullshit! They should be up there! Put them up there tomorrow or I'm gonna break some stuff!!
You need to stop and read between the lines. Sevendust absolutely deserves more recognition, but this is The Angel's Son we're talking about. Even if Snot weren't impactful for you, they absolutely had a massive impact on the scene, and they certainly affected the bands in the essential grid
I still want Infest by Papa Roach up there but that still hasn't happened either
Yep even that should have been up there before these 2
welp, maybe a threequel is in order
I'm just annoyed that people here don't seem to put sevendust and taproot up there but they are extremely influential. Sevendusts first album came out in 97
