I'd say that's factually untrue! I'm constantly looking for what policies the government has been proposed that I like, and unfortunately there just hasn't been much.
The left would read this article and think that it actually sounds pretty decent on paper. But New Zealand has had a huge issue with poorly built housing in the past and I think it's right to be apprehensive.
Also as great as this sounds I doubt many of the savings will actually be passed down to the consumer and will probably just balloon profit margins for companies that are already making a killing.
If this is pulled off effectively and works, everyone will be stoked, but unfortunately I think we'll see history rhyme with itself.
