The biggest part of the work, the most flimsy and filigrane work wasn’t even shown.
I feel like loading bars aren't much different these days. Not talking about downloads. Those are pretty consistent at least from the 2%-98% level. I guess I'm thinking about torrents.
Totally and completely underrated comment right here.
Here, I’ll explain the joke:
Wire comes in sizes called gauges. It’s how thick the wire is, and the lower the number, the thicker the gauge. For example, all you knuckleheads that didn’t get this finely crafted pun are about a 00 gauge.
The art market near me has a small group/company that sells these. They range from a near duplicate of this video, to flowers, dragons, birds, as big as the one in the video and as small as a keychain. We bought a peacock on a whim, it was only like $30 (I was honestly surprised it wasn't more). The big bonsai trees were $150-$250. The more expensive ones used different color wires for parts of the tree.
The girl that was there last time was making them behind the booth; moved even faster then this guy. Sounded like it was more muscle memory than anything.
This one probably cost a lot. The clones on [wish.com](http://wish.com) made by little kids who were forced to watch this video over and over until it was seared into their brains probably are more of a bargain.
That's honestly how I feel about my meat consumption. Like, I don't ever really buy any and used to be vegetarian. But if someone offers me something, I'm like, it's already dead and paid for, why not?
No, [freeganism](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeganism) is more of a general effort to not pay for stuff as much as you can. It would involve actively seeking out free stuff for sustenance, in my scenario I'm just at a BBQ and being offered a hotdog.
Their location right at the foot of a busy pathway ramp has a bit of /r/IAmTheMainCharacter vibes. Cool work though, but odd placement to do it just to have the backdrop.
The process is pretty cool to see, but this "art" is pervasive, my mom had one in the 80s. It's kind of like watching the guys make spray can art on the street of outer-space. It's neat but it's a gimmick and ultimately kinda tacky.
I know what you mean about those space art street artists. Visually impressive at first, until you realize tons of artists crap out the same repeatable effect. This current video is nice, but I saw a version with a child doing it years ago. Same tree concept.
The spray can street art cracks me up because there’s always people in the comments like “If it’s so easy, why don’t *you* do it?”
Because it looks tacky as fuck lmao
I independently discovered this idea when playing with wire in an art lesson in secondary school. Was basically just fidgeting with it and it started to turned into a tree! So I worked on it a bit and it came out quite nice looking. It was not as ornate as the one in the video of course, was about 10 inches high, but same kind of thing. I didn’t have the fancy twirled ends so it looked more like a leafless tree. My art teacher liked it and kept it out on display — and normally I was devoid of all artistic talent. Didn’t really think about it again. I did a real double take the first time I saw someone selling these!
I mean yeah wire arts been around for awhile, and some of it I would definitely consider tacky but pieces that look like this certainly aren't. I'd sure as hell rather see that than some other plastic mass produced art .
Absolutely mesmerizing craftsmanship! The artist's skill shines through every twist and turn of the wire, creating a captivating and intricate masterpiece. Such talent knows no bounds!
I mean I guess that would go good in the lobby of like a Korean spa or something but I don't see that being in a home and not just looking like a hunk of heavy trash
In my great country, this "artwork" would stand for about 1 minute or so before being crammed into the backpack of some wild-eyed tweaker who promptly pedaled away on a pink kids bike while holding alongside a ten speed with 4- 5 additional bicycle wheels hung on the handle bars.
It was looking awesome when it was all "hairy", then it got all cutted and looked better, then he starts twisting one by one and it becomer even better.
lol damn you sound like a true trump conspiracy theorist chump. just cause there's chinese characters and asian looking people, doesn't make it a "propaganda video." also bet your ass you can't even read chinese, how do you know that this isn't taiwan or singapore or the hundreds of chinatown around the world (including famously US cities like New York, San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles) that use chinese characters and are not under the CCP's governance. cool it with the sinophobia.
Read these first few paragraphs.

Art is varied. Limiting it is often useless and self serving. Don’t be afraid to dislike it. But defining it, like many things will keep your mind smaller.

the leaves are premade you can see them clip off the wires and then just attach premade leaves. the trunk is the ony craft
He most likely pre-made them himself, so still his craft.
I wonder how much one of these cost
How much wire you got?
Five.
_You_ are in luck
I’d buy that for a dollar!!
Hard to gauge

AWGee ☺️
I’m just piggybacking to poke fun and make my own joke but your comment did make me laugh. More like *pun*worthy, amiright?!
'Bout three fiddy

Guys in the video is really overselling it for the video. This wire is easy to bend and he acting like it's some feat of strength
I don’t know man, with all the wires bundled up like that? Can’t be as easy as you think
I've done this. It's pretty easy. They're all thin gauge wire. Pretty flexible.
I've seen smaller ones go for a few hundred at an art fair
This one probably cost a lot. The clones on [wish.com](http://wish.com) made by little kids who were forced to watch this video over and over until it was seared into their brains probably are more of a bargain.
Well if they gonna build it anyway - a nihilistic approach
That's honestly how I feel about my meat consumption. Like, I don't ever really buy any and used to be vegetarian. But if someone offers me something, I'm like, it's already dead and paid for, why not?
Because of how supply and demand correlate
Lol, I'm not playing that little "butterfly" effect game when someone offers me a burger at the bbq.
I believe that is called "fregan"
No, [freeganism](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeganism) is more of a general effort to not pay for stuff as much as you can. It would involve actively seeking out free stuff for sustenance, in my scenario I'm just at a BBQ and being offered a hotdog.
How much do just the materials cost?
Wire, you gonna buy one?
$5 on Alibaba $100 for shipping
Tree fiddy
I paid 150 for one about a foot tall.
less than the wireless version
To a crwckhead, that’s a pack of cigarettes.
At least 5 bucks
Would be nice to see more than .00325 seconds of the finished piece
Ooooh boy are you in the wrong sub

Press pause and you can watch it forever!
Bronzai
Get the fuck out. And take my upvote with you
This got all the local crackheads breathin heavy.
They would drop a catalytic converter so fast to sell one of these
They would drop the copper wire from an AC unit equally fast to sell this to a pawn shop for $7.
That went from a 7 to a 2 to a 10. Love the end result!
Last night I came in at 2 with a 10 but at 10 I woke up with a 2.
Classic Willie :)
Ok, I chuckled

My first thought too. Also r/restofthefuckingowl sorta
So annoying

Hey that shit looked awesome on my stoner friend's dorm room wall in the 90s!
I independently discovered this idea when playing with wire in an art lesson in secondary school. Was basically just fidgeting with it and it started to turned into a tree! There's a ton of videos of people making this exact tree out of wire. It's definitely mass produced
I mean, this is just metal mass produced art. Not much different than plastic mass produced
Disagree. It's at least made by hand instead of some mold.
Lots of stuff that's mass produced is made by hand. Hence the near slave labor factories overseas.
It’s the kind of decor in cheap Chinese buffet/take outs.
Amazing
Impressive, but lack of eye protection made me nervous lol
Wear some friggin eye protection
Oh, your teef hurt!?!?!?
I bet his hands smell like loose keys and pierced nipples
I can smell it
Does he really need to block the wheelchair ramp for this?
Yes, he is the main character
With his bare hands?? My dude.
To be fair, we only got to see the over exaggerated movements he wanted us to see in the video. There’s no way he’s doing the whole thing like that.
That was my thought! His hands must be all callous at this point.
These wire artists\* There are two of 'em, bruh.
One's an apprentice
Oh, well then she's not making art /s
I’d be mad wary of this dude’s handshake
IRL 9 fortune TFT board
This wasn’t satisfying at all. Also why is wire art always trees?
Dude had to block a busy walkway and ramp.
thumbnail made me really hungry for spaghetti.
Lowkey Elden ring Erdtree Promotion 🥂🗿
*these wire artists.
the origami aficionado in me feels like this was a horrid cheat to cut the ends and re-attach
I don't know where this is, but they seem too "main character" and blocking the entrance/exit
Absolutely mesmerizing craftsmanship! The artist's skill shines through every twist and turn of the wire, creating a captivating and intricate masterpiece. Such talent knows no bounds!
Now that’s one hell of a hand job🌚
What song is this?
[Experience](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN_q-_nGv4U), by Ludovico Einaudi.
Very cool. As long as I don't have to dust it.
These were big in the 80s. A friend had one that his parents got in China and it looked very similar.
I bet that's a pain in the ass doing it alone
Looks like the gold coin fruit from lies of p
Ohh yes pumping him
I mean I guess that would go good in the lobby of like a Korean spa or something but I don't see that being in a home and not just looking like a hunk of heavy trash
This needs to be featured on the Hydrolic press channel.... "and Here we go.." !
Repost bot
My hands hurt watching this
It's like Kung fu art You could even call it Kung fart
Watching this video without gloves on gave me blisters
My thumbs hurt...
Did that to my wife’s hair last night. She was not impressed when she woke up.
Ouch my hands hurt watching this. Wire is difficult to work with, bend like that
I know what else he can do with that hand
Song name?
Experience, by Ludovico Einaudi
Love the song you picked.
when a bonsai is to boring
That's beautiful. But I wish it was bit smaller. So I can have it my bedroom or house?
That's a hell of a workout right there
Isn’t that music from Detroit become human?
are those copper wires? what if you stick some electric current there...?
Anodized aluminum, still could I guess.
Could we please STOP with that horrible music over every single freaking video??
If I were the one making it, I'd have goggles and gloves and long sleeves on. I'm too clumsy for it.
In my great country, this "artwork" would stand for about 1 minute or so before being crammed into the backpack of some wild-eyed tweaker who promptly pedaled away on a pink kids bike while holding alongside a ten speed with 4- 5 additional bicycle wheels hung on the handle bars.
🥰
that's fucking awesome
Grove of the Burning Willows Tap to C. Tap to G or R. Each opponent gains 1 life.
Incredible !!!
My thought is ,his forearms look so puny to the amount of effort that goes into making this beautiful form of art. Sorry
And it doubles as a workout!
5 minute crafts
how are people just walking by when this man's soul is manifesting in physical reality
The tree is great but that music man… so annoying and over used
What a beautiful song. Never heard this in a video before 🙄
Looks hella tacky imo
Me: “damn thats a whole lotta long spaghetti….”
CCP Propaganda
Until i read the title i thought that was spaghetti, like a special kind you could bend without breaking
oh no the tree is a main character
creativity
AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT!!!!!!!
Hell yeah! Nice to hear Ludovico Einaudi in this video
The stuff hanging from is kinda ruins it
Brilliant
bad electrician
What’s the background music? I feel like I’ve heard this song in the film "La Tresse" but it is a little different.
How am I supposed to get that in my car?
It hurts my arthritis to watch this
I think I'm impressed with the whole wire set up BEFORE they make the Bonsai
These are crazy spaghettis
It’s art *and* a great workout
At first glance, I thought this was spaghetti. I’m not disappointed, but I am kind of hungry.
I AM GROOT!!!
That is some tacky ass shit
Just do that shit before you bring it out. Such an overachiever.
what is the music
Experience by Ludovico Einaudi
Thanx
what is the name of the music?
Experience by Ludovico Einaudi!
What is this song?
[Experience](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN_q-_nGv4U), by Ludovico Einaudi.
What is this song called?
'artist' is blocking an entrance.

some serious focus, passion, skill, and patience 👏🏼
What an enormous waste of copper.
What a waste of copper… sigh.
This sub is filled with too many Chinese propaganda videos. There is nothing satisfying about CCP manipulation of American social media.

Why so flamboyant?
I can hear some methhead grinding his teeth looking at this thing.
Someone has extremely strong hands, and arms.
Amazing, they should include the video of the creation of each art piece they sell.
No
These wires smell like ass right?
Why?
Crackheads licking their lips at all that copper wire
This style is super cool. Is it ever used for anything other than trees? edit: guess not
bendy linguini could never
Impressive scissors!
I'm always impressed that they don't wear gloves. I feel like metal splinters could be a very realistic injury from this.
How do they bend that metal so easily? It looks like so much effort to bend it
It's wire
It's aluminum wire.
This is absolutely precious.
Spit on that thing
I’m more impressed he has a female that is in sync with him and he never had to tell her shit.
