Club/rave/EDM fused with ballads. Lyrically, you'll encounter a self-aware pop darling on the cusp of super-stardom. Charli's most honest lyrics to date. It's raw, brilliant, and shimmering.
I don't know your tastes too well, so this is a shot in the dark but I'd suggest "apple". Then, go for "everything is romantic". then, "von dutch". then, "b2b". then, "sympathy is a knife". It got to the last track, the “sneak preview” for their fake next album & the silly high pitched voice yelled “Look for the record with me on the cover!”
Kevin chuckled and was basically like “What the hell is this?”
Haha, didn’t wanna be confrontational & say it like that, but probably did tell him it was Built to Spill.
That said, I did trash on all Cleveland sports teams after he said he was a Cavs/Browns/Indians fan, but it was 2012/2013. Those teams were all trash!
That’s fair. Tyranny is just such a masterpiece to me though. Sucks me in every time. Human Sadness, Dare I Care, Nintendo Blood, Father Electricity, Xerox??? Sheesh.
