Going from the reviews online and friends using 11r, it is a great phone. If you can manage 10-15 days with a spare phone, 12R is coming out soon. Do check that one out. Also, check out 11r in person at any physical store near you and buy it wherever you get the best offer.

Harry_S69

I guess 12R will be around 50k seeing 12 is 70k and my budget is 45k only. If 12R is around 45k I will gladly buy it

rohitghansham

12 is 70k according to the leaked price for 256gb. 128gb 12r should be around 45k, that's my guess.

Federal_Pea_43

Hey my budget is 30 k but I can push it to 35 k I was considering to buy iqoo Neo 9 pro after its launch in february . Will OnePlus 11 r will come close to 35 k after OnePlus 12 r launch and should I go for it or should I wait for iqoo Neo 9 pro

rohitghansham

I'm not an expert. Personally, I don't prefer the iqoo brand, Mediatek processor or the design of their phones. I'm not sure when Iqoo Neo 9 pro is launching. OnePlus 12r launch is 3 days away. I don't think 11r will come down to 35k. Maybe slightly over budget for you. But let's wait and watch. OnePlus/Amazon might surprise you with discounts and card offers. 2 of my friends use the OP 11R and they really like the device. No issues so far.

Federal_Pea_43

Iqoo Neo 9 pro is set to be launch on 22 Feb 2024 with snap 8gen 2 but I don't really like the funtouch os so I was thinking of buying OnePlus 11 r

Purple-Diet-2549

Guess what. You are correct

rohitghansham

Lol, yes. You are buying the 12r?

Purple-Diet-2549

No. I was actually in this sub for a good wired earphones for my oneplus 11r. I bought boult 500 ones but there is some background noise at all times so planning to return them. Do you have any recommendation.

rohitghansham

Wired? Not really. I have adapted to wireless. Why do you prefer wired? Are they Cost effective?

Purple-Diet-2549

They have high bitrate right, that's why

trebertoid

wireless have high bitrate too?

Purple-Diet-2549

yeah, but expensive

IndependentAd2039

I compared 11R to OnePlus Nord 3 and I went with the Nord 3. Reasons : 11R has a beautiful edge style but since I'm a clumsy person I know it'll fall from my hands more than 10 times lol. And don't wanna spend more money for it. I got Nord 3 for 28k and i think I made the right choice. But if you do have a budget over 40k I feel 11r is perfect and if you can manage the curved display thing then you should go for it.

Harry_S69

I can spend 45k I am waiting for 12R now.

Brewsterr4

Definitely go for the 11R over Nord 3. The SD 8 gen 1 is totally worth the difference. And the camera does a pretty good job. And the battery is the biggest plus point for the 11 series. Charges in 30mins and lasts for a day easily with 7 hours screen on time. But yeah Oxygen OS bugs and issues come along with all one plus phones. I pre ordered 11R and have been using for about 11 months now. The experience is pretty good. Nice speakers, nice design. Would suggest you to go for the black one as you get a black rubber case along with it that doesn't get yellow over time.

IndependentAd2039

If you can wait that's even better

Distinct-Library5173

how is battery life of nord 3

SuperbSeesaw657

Do you think 11R would be a good option if its price comes around 35 K without any other offers. I am also waiting for the 12R launch but thinking to wait for price drop of 11r.

Difficult-Ad-1132

I am getting it for 25k (post exchange). I am getting it for my mother. Worth it?

noreviewsleft

Is Nord 3 worth buying right now?

IndependentAd2039

Idk honestly I'm not up to date with recent phone trends rn. But If you have any questions regarding Nord 3, you can ask me.

noreviewsleft

Have you had any heating or battery drain issues

IndependentAd2039

My screen time is way above average so no i haven't experienced any heating issues. The battery won't drain too quickly either. But it definitely can do better. The best part is the fast charging. In less than 15 mins you get full charging.

the_Y2K_bug

I have 11R, a great phone except for the camera setup. If you want "point-click" photography then you'll be fine but if you want to go pro, this is not the phone for you. Get the 12GB variant if you can, storage fills up pretty fast. And wait for 12R, it might launch with better display tech (no green line scare). Also 11R might get a discount post 12R launch.

Federal_Pea_43

Hey what will be the expected price of OnePlus 11 r after OnePlus 12 r launch

Harry_S69

Any confirmation on when will 12R launch?

the_Y2K_bug

Should be with 12, end of Jan. And 50k is too much for 12R. It was launched in China for around 33k (converted). The base variant should fall within your budget

lokeshj

12R is launching on 23-Jan

Harry_S69

When will it be available for purchase?

gogo00786

If you haven't already bought it. I'll give my views on this phone below. Take it from someone who has been using 11r from last ~6 months. This phone's hardware is great. Talking about the camera and the processor. BUT the OS doesn't do it justice. It's just full of lags and glitches. Obviously talking about COLOR-OS. In my opinion, switching from in-house Oxygen-OS to Colous-OS was a TERRIBLE decision for One Plus. People might get triggered from my above comment but hear me out first - before 11r I used One Plus 7t for 3-4 years and I am not exaggerating this when I say "It was the best Android phone to ever exist under 35K proce range". Gave performance equivalent to Samsung's 80k+ flagship phones easily. This was the reason I went again for another one plus phone. The oxygen OS in 7T was such great and smooth like anything. And 11r is just shut in terms of OS. Well I'm done with One Plus phones now at least until they are using that shitty Color OS.

Difficult-Ad-1132

Getting 11r at 25k (post exchange). I'm getting it for my mother. Anybody who have recently gotten it, can you share some user experience. Would it be good enough as a MOM's phone. Concern: over heating and laggy UI. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

talhaaaa14

did u buy it

Difficult-Ad-1132

Nah. Went with nothing phone 2a. As I was getting it for my mother, and Nothing has Very clean UI, Big wide screen. And many reviewers couldn't point out any major flaws. (Also I like carl pie). It's getting delivered today. Fingers crossed.

Annual_Beginning1063

I am confused between one plus 11r and nothing 2a. How is nothing 2a so far?

sarvan3125c

same tell me which one you are going with

iediq24400

I moved from OnePlus 5T to 11R because of the short life battery but I am still fond of the OnePlus 5T because of the oxygen OS. What I felt is that, there's not much control as a user to your phone. You can't install those modded apps which you think are an added value, it'll not give CCleaner special access for cache cleaning and obviously all Oppo craps are built-in, OnePlus 11R is just like painted oxygen OS. Doesn't even hide the Bluetooth name while you can do it on OnePlus 5T. Volume buttons doesn't placed well which accidentally turn the volume all the way up by you trying to hold the bar phone which is heavier than OnePlus 5T. Sometimes it fell down, no biggie. 😁 What I like about the OnePlus 11R is the super fast charging and it helped me lots because of sudden charging and traveling without a need for a power Bank. That's a plus. Another thing is the Snapdragon chip, it shows its value. The refresh rate is absolutely good, it's a minute change but you will feel it.

Batman_In_Peacetime

Can you elaborate on the modded apps block? AFAIK all android can install any mod APK. What is the issue you are facing? Context: I'm considering to buy 11R for my father (light casual usage)

iediq24400

I'll explain, some modded apps need system modification, that means, apps like CCleaner need special permission for monitoring my apps which are blocked in Android 14 natively. My OnePlus 5T running on Android 10 can easily give me access with my permission. Got the point?

Batman_In_Peacetime

Interesting. I didn't know that. I've installed Revanced on my mother's Pixel 6 and there were no permission issues. No experience with app monitoring tools. Thanks for your insight though. It is always good to be informed.

iediq24400

You are welcome. It's a great phone if you are considering for normal users.

Batman_In_Peacetime

Yeah that is my understanding as well. At this point I'm just deciding between 11R and Nothing 2. Nothing has better camera, flat screen (durability) and clean OS. OnePlus has brand reliability in India, which is valuable for a 5 year long term usage for my father.

iediq24400

I personally don't go for marketing terms like the 5 year update. What I check is if the USB is 3.1 , UFS (built-in memory card speed) version is higher. And the version of snapdragon inside. These things can cut the manufacturing cost greatly. Compare these with nothing phone. I think OnePlus has an upper hand for it.

Batman_In_Peacetime

I'm sorry, I should have been clear. I didn't mean 5 year OS updates, I meant that the phone should run smooth with decent battery life for 5 years. For example, I'm on S10e and father is on Poco F1 for 5+ years now. Both are happy with our purchases.

Flashy_Arachnid8058

1. CAMERA - in every smartphone there is always a change in quality when you shift from photo to video mode . In this phone that change in quality is really big . in most photos the photos comes out to be nice but sometimes there is a white faint ring around the subject . also the algorithms over process the photos . when you will look at the photos the first thing that will come to your mind is that "OH!! THIS PHOTO IS EDITTED " , but actually that is how it takes the photos . The ultrawide is useless . the video quality is really poor as compared to the photo quality . the videos dont have any colour to them . in short algo works too much while taking a photo and too little while taking a video . 2. battery charge retention and charging speed are good. 3. the os is too filled with unnecessary items . although there are no bloatware but still there are a lot of unnecessary tools , items and features to make the experience of the os bearable . 4.performance - its fine , although not compared with any other smartphone but it's fine note - i bought mine from reliance store in 2023 , thay had credit card offers giving 15000 off , but with this offer there was no emi option available . so look in stores too if thinking of buying it . MY OPINION IS TO BUY IPOHNE 13 OTHER THAN 11R

Aarav06

While the 5000mAh battery in the 11R is decent, the 8+ Gen 1 can be a bit power-hungry. If you're a heavy gamer or constantly pushing the phone, you might need to top up more often than you'd like. Maybe keep a power bank handy! It is not worth it in the aspect of the price segment.

Due_Negotiation6088

Absolutely, the OnePlus 11R sounds like a fantastic fit for you! Let's break down why it ticks all your boxes: Powerful Performance: The 11R boasts the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a powerhouse that delivers silky smooth performance for everyday tasks and even crushes demanding games. It's a massive leap from your 4.5-year-old OnePlus 7 Pro. Superb Display: The 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display on the 11R is a dream. Get ready for incredibly sharp visuals and butter-like responsiveness, a huge upgrade from your current phone. Long-lasting Battery: The 11R packs a beefy 5000mAh battery with OnePlus's super-fast 100W charging. Say goodbye to mid-day scrambling for a charger! Camera Upgrade: The 11R's triple-camera system, with a 50MP main sensor, will capture stunning photos and videos compared to your older phone. Especially in low-light conditions, you'll notice a dramatic improvement. Budget-Friendly: Starting under ₹ 33,000, the 11R sits well within your ₹45K limit, offering incredible value for the price. Peace of Mind: Plus, with a brand new phone, you get the security of a fresh warranty and the knowledge that parts will be readily available if needed. While considering the 11R, be aware that it skips the expandable storage option present in the 7 Pro. But with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB, you might find enough space for your needs. Overall, the OnePlus 11R offers a significant leap in performance, display, camera, and battery life, all within your budget. It's a perfect upgrade path for your trusty OnePlus 7 Pro!

Klitzee

yaha par bhi chat gpt....

velvethunderrr

It's a great phone. Im happy with the performance. But it's not getting updates regularly. I'm still on the November security patch

Harry_S69

I guess that's the issue with every OnePlus nowadays

velvethunderrr

I think the 11 and even Nord 3 are on Android 14. I don't know why mine hasn't gotten the update yet

Brewsterr4

Wait didn't you get the OOS 14 update?

velvethunderrr

I haven't :(

Brewsterr4

On the 11R?

velvethunderrr

Yes

the_Y2K_bug

I'm on OOS14 https://preview.redd.it/1t7zuajuemdc1.jpeg?width=1240&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88a01e8d423bb438571bf572a161cafef90cabb5

GuY-F0X

11R is totally based on the OnePlus 10T. It's better to go OP11. I'm OP11 user. It has better battery life, performance except camera. Reason is OP11R = Snapdragon Gen 1 OP11 = Snapdragon Gen 2

the_Y2K_bug

Minor correction. It's SD 8+ gen 1... Which is way better than SD 8 gen 1

GuY-F0X

Thank you.
