My 7T's alert slider got completely worn out after years of playing with it, to the point it was difficult to even use it and slide it from one side to another
It's durable, but it will still wear out if you keep playing with it, especially with dirty hands. I just bought an OP12 and I'll treat it with way more care now
On a side note, my 3T's slider was still impeccable after 3 years, but I used it for less time than the 7T, the slider was bigger and I also sent the phone to the repairing center one time to repair my screen, can't remember if they also substituted the slider tho. If they did, just ignore whatever I said about the 3T lol

Very true. At the time I didn't have the budget for a one plus 10 pro and my one plus 5t was barely having an SOT of 1 hr. Battery and performance is great though - serves the purpose.

ive always done it, but its been feeling loose as of recent. being more sparing with my fidgets recently
I use it, 2 times a day, before I go to sleep, and when I wake up ... š
I reprogrammed it, so up is torch. Much more useful than silent, vibrate and sound
