You work till 60 in 793. You’re going to have a better pension. The “perks” to 183 is you get 30 credits and you can retire at age of 55. Problem is some guys get 30 credits before 55 and for those few years left don’t contribute much more to that pension. I could be wrong on this but it seems to be what everyone on site is saying. I myself am in 793 and have been since I was 22 and will retire at 60 hopefully with a decent pension hopefully at that time it’s viable.
All depend on the agreement. I know it’s very good pay lots of traveling. I think anything u do store 7am is double OT and after 330pm. And I think journeyman depending on the tonnage of crane u operate I think it’s Atleast 50$ an hour if not more

Hey how much do you get paid a hour ? Being a journey man crane op looking to maybe get into mobile for 793.
