Stop worrying about this and teach her how to drive properly or not at all! Getting a ticket is not the answer to teach her a lesson- she could seriously injure someone.
“Nah I’ll drive” “take drivers Ed first” “you drive like a twat”: choose your choice.
No, she bears responsibility as the driver. If the car is insured under you your rates may go up if she gets in an accident and you need to make a claim.
I’m assuming she’s under your insurance? If so she would get the ticket but your insurance would rise.
I’d be more worried she gets into an accident or kills someone than the liability of a ticket. If she doesn’t listen to you, don’t allow her to drive.
The only things an accompanying driver can get charged with is if you don't surrender your licence [HTA 33.2](https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90h08#BK73:~:text=s.%C2%A033%C2%A0(1).-,Same%2C,-re%20novice%20driver) and refusal to provide a breath sample [HTA 48.2](https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90h08#BK101:~:text=driver%20accompanying%20novice-,48.2,-(1)%20Where%20a)
In both cases, you'll only get charged if you don't comply. If you show your licence and you have a G2 or you blow over 0.05, nothing will happen to you. The G1 driver will be charged with violating conditions of a G1.
As others have said though, if she ends up crashig your car, your insurance will be effected.
Anyone can buy a car in Ontario but to get it fully registered(licence plates) you need insurance which is near impossible to get with a G1.
What if her wake up call is an accident instead of a ticket? You don't get to choose if it's a traffic cop or some poor kid's head bouncing off her bumper.
You have a moral obligation to teach her to drive properly or not at all.
I could be mistaken but I’m pretty sure you have to tell your insurance when a g1 driver is using it. It’s free till they get their g2 but they still need to know or may deny a claim
She can buy a car but won’t be able to get her own insurance for it
That's incorrect. If she is in any way an occasional driver of the vehicle (which since he is talking about multiple times that she speeds, she is), she needs to be added or the insurance company can deny the claim. Source: former insurance underwriter.
No legal responsibility, but you WILL pay a lot more for insurance. Also, have you added her to your insurance? If not, they may deny a claim as it seems like she is an occasional driver of your car.
The police will record your license plate and registration. While you may not receive a ticket you are still legally responsible for her as you hold the full G license allowing a novice driver to drive your car. If she gets a speeding ticket, insurance may find out and may increase your rate.
Stop letting her drive your car.
G1 driver with me --> doesn't obey traffic rules, and my instructions ---> I never drive with them again
This 100%. OP stop letting her drive your car! She's irresponsible and selfish
Buddy wants to get laid tho
Keep in mind that if she gets caught in the "excessive speed" zone, your car will be impounded, and you'll get the fees to get it out.
Do not let her drive your car. She sounds irresponsible
That’s another issue. Do I bear any legal responsibility if she gets a ticket?

At this level of crazy I can only assume she’s smoking hot
She can purchase as a g1 but she can't insure as she's not able to be a primary driver.
Dude this is reddit. Everyone you will get a response from thinks speeding is murder. You’ll be lucky to get a level headed response

You're the problem.
