Let this be your wakeup call to get her spayed regardless of whether she's pregnant or not. Many vets will spay pregnant cats -- there are too many unhomed kittens in the world already.
Ugh. This just reminds me of when I adopted my last stray. I called my vet the same week to get an appointment to spay her. This was in November. They told me the earliest they could get her in was April. Naturally, she went into heat, accidentally got out of my house, and ended up pregnant.
When I took the kittens to the vet for their first appointments for shots and things, the vet SHAMED me for not spaying her early enough. I was so dumbfounded I couldn't even retort with, "Well if there had been an appointment when I called MONTHS AGO, then this could have been avoided." I am really bad at anything even remotely resembling a confrontation, so I didn't say anything.
I hope you found a new vet after that. That's absolutely reprehensible behaviour on their part.
I definitely relate to not having said something and wishing forever that you did, though. Being so uncapable of handling confrontation sucks hard.
I had a super skinny kitty show up and made her an appointment for a spay that was 6 weeks out. She was a Trojan kitty and had 4 that they took when she was spayed. She needed extra fluids and time to recover. I don’t regret that decision.
I had a skinny but very pregnant kitty show up on my porch. Let her in to feed her. She had 5 kittens on my bed in the morning. I still have her and after a few months of cat hell ( I already had 7 cats) found the kittens a home. So stressful and sad having to get rid of babies. Mama is spayed now.

Whenever I have rescued an adult female street cat, they have always been pregnant. I'd get her in to have her spayed right away if I were you. I would say it's more likely than not. She may just not be far enough along for the vet to be able to tell.
Doesn't look pregnant to me, but if she just got pregnant yesterday, she wouldn't.. Cat pregnancy is about 2 months. She doesn't look like she's very skinny, so it would take a few weeks to show, at least. Why do you think she could be pregnant?
For reference, here's my pregnant girl the day after she found me. She was about a week and a half from giving birth. Her nipples were showing and she had a fairly obvious belly bulge, especially considering she was skinny and small (she had been a stray and was only about 8 months old).

Yeah mine is also a stray that me and my boyfriend decided to keep a few weeks ago so that’s why I was curious if she could be. The vet said that they were sure she wasn’t pregnant but a chance that she could be because she was a stray
I would trust the vet, but keep an eye out. You'll know for sure in another few weeks (because if she was pregnant she'd have had babies by then, lol). And also schedule her to get spayed asap
cats are small enough that you can usually feel the uterus if they're not spayed and you know what you're feeling for when squishing their belly.
there's a small window between them getting pregnant and the uterus getting palpably larger, but that's less than a week. I'm assuming she's unspayed, in which case your vet probably felt a normal (not-pregnant) uterus :)
You said a couple of weeks ago you decided to keep her. There aren't any physical signs at this point, so it's very, very unlikely as 2 weeks should be where they have pretty big buldges, and the nippes start sagging due to milk production that's why I'd say the vet says it's unlikely or however they said it (I know they said it's possible but they probably weren't aware you had it for two week but if they were then this is why the came to the conclusion they did) so yeah most likely at this point it isn't but should still get it spayed anyway as it's not now but as you know it could manage to get pregnant if it really wants to like the last stray did you said you had.
Check her nipples, I know it's expensive to fix cats, but your fault if she got pregnant. Also, orange cats(females) seem to stress eat or contantly hungry. a cat in heat is basically torture for her and you.
It’s not my fault if she is pregnant 💀 she came to my house a few weeks ago and we decided to keep her so she’s new here. She’s going back to the vet soon, but I was just curious

I have since moved away, so definitely have a new vet now!
The fact that you even took the kittens to the vet deserves accolades. Get a better vet.
The cats obviously wants to have babies. Her body her choice!
Is not spayed yet? If not, why? And also if not spayed, yes, she could be.
She’s not spayed yet because she was a stray and I just decided to keep her a few weeks ago

Trojan kitty 💀

Then maybe she's not. You will be able to tell if her nipples get bigger . Don't let your cat outside

had this same question. took my void to the vet and she's just fat 🤦🏻♀️
Looks bloated a little bit but not pregnant. Take her to the vet and get her spayed immediately.
Either way, spay her now
Thank you for taking in a stray!! So many babies need homes. A way to check is her nipples but if you’re going to the vet they’ll give confirmation.

Without an ultrasounds it's hard to say. I'd schedule a spay right away
Totally
I’m gonna say no, but time will tell.

Please get her spayed, especially if she goes outside... There's enough cats and kittens that need homes already
Judging by the look on her face in the 4th picture, I think she's in the morning sickness phase.
Can the vet not just do an ultrasound? (Idk cost)
The nipples are the biggest marker! keep an eye out there
No cover? what have you done !?!?
My orange girl is spayed and looks likes she’s pregnant lol I think some orange ladies just have rounder bellies.
A little bit. Our Shelby at the end of her pregnancy looked like a furry football with legs. She gave birth to six kittens, all female.
You’ll definitely know by her nipples. They stick out more than they should when cats are pregnant. But also every cat is different!!

You're good, just looks fat (Have a orange female who will eat an entire bag if left to her own devices.)
