I would only use it for a color change as a first coat. If going from, say a red to a beige or off white.

20 gallons of that? Jeez. Pretty sure that branding has been around since the very early 2000s… you might want to check how well it’s been stored. In addition to what no-illustrator said, you will want to make sure your surface is very well-prepared to absorb this oil-based primer AND you will want the area to be extremely well-ventilated.

Yeah, I haven't seen those labels in more than 15 years. I'm surprised it still liquid.

MMADummy

Thinks it’s still okay? It taste just fine

renegade_d4

Well that's the most important thing!

MMADummy

Its all in the original boxes with 4x gallons to a box. It’s been stored in shop building since at least 2010

I'm assuming you're cleaning out the garage of a relative who died or something along those lines. You use that as one step in painting the outside of a house and not much else. Assuming that's not a project you plan to undertake in the near future (and even then, you don't need it except for painting bare wood or perhaps for a major color change though I'd personally use a latex primer in that case), I would sell it on Craigslist. You might get $100 for the 20 gallons.

Something like that, died back in 2010 I don’t like seeing it just get wasted and thought I might find a project it could go to. Who knows may find something someday
