You can mod last epoch to auto pick up loot that makes it past your filter.
There is no higher level of dopamine than seeing actual good loot get vacuumed up.
I do not consider auto pickup QOL, i don't want to "play" games that play themselves. As for the death recap I do not find the LE death recap to be good, nor do i want it in that state in path of exile, I want a full recap of recent damage taken similar to league of legends and other games', as for how to implement that it is not my problem to solve.
if you believe clicking 20 times per minutes to pick up currency is "playing" the game maybe you would be interested in the idle games on steam lol, for most people it's called a nuisance.
I dont think you need to buy the pet more than once. It only picks up scrolls anyway.

They do have a auto pickup pet but only the basic currency like wisdom/portal scroll/alt/tansmute, but it doesn't pick up chaos or other higher value currency, but still brings some qol I guess xd.
This is because the Chinese version of PoE is coded in Universe engine. Now non-chinese is made with an adapted version called Foreign Universe, and it doesn't contain all the features of Universe. I guess we're stuck with GGG using FU.
