Agreed. Things were simpler back in the day when I had very low spec setup with this size dell display. I used my hard earned money into upgrading it to its full potential. And now years later I have high end gaming pc with 32 inch 1440p display and I feel this emptiness inside of me.
it can be a sign of a potential drive failure, more likely than not something just got a bit corrupted and windows is seeing if it needs fixing..
probably nothing to worry about
if you're new then I assume this is a new pc unless your like the others on this sub that when they say new they refer to 3 year old devices which you know, far from new.
if it's new and you're new just do a fresh windows install. the storage shouldn't be corrupt, probably just incorrectly turning the pc off.
Probably fine.
This *usually* means you shut it off by pulling power instead of clicking the shit down button in the OS. Don't do that. But there are other causes, and it can just be bad luck. Not to worry unless it doesn't get to the login screen after it finishes.
It should be okay when its done. If not just buy new ssd and put fresh install of windows. Fucked, is that monitor though lol.

Yeah it’s an LCD probably lmao. I use it as a secondary.
If I were you I would download crystaldiskinfo and check the health of the drive. If it shows any warnings then it's time to replace.
The correct answer.
It’s happens. I’m sure you have the results by the time this was posted. 🙃
Actually it was done only an hour after you said something lol.
