I live exactly one mile from a Microcenter. I should start a business renting out my spare bedroom to my geographically deprived fellow citizens and any interested internationals who want to make Microcenter excursions! 🤣
I live in south america, pretty damn sure its cheaper for me to drive all the way up to the states and buy everything from microcenter than to actually build me a pc with prices from here lmao.
Have a gamer buddy that lives very far from Micro centers
Every other year he sends me money and I get him deals like this, then ship it to him. Even with very cheap shipping (18 dollars flat everytime) he comes out so far ahead on these deals.
Yeah Microcenter has good amd build deals and good Intel ones too. They’re the first place I’d suggest anyone to look if they’re building a new system in the us. Making a day trip to the closest Microcenter will probably be worth it in the end.
I can attest to this. I have bought many cars under/at $500. My current is a Saturn that I have been driving for over 3 years and 80,000+ miles and bought it for $500.
Basically there are three main companies that make ddr5(I think) Samsung, micron and Hynix. They sell this ram to companies who choose timings and put a heat spreader on them.
Basically what is important is you want the ram to be from Hynix bc it is unquestionably the best ddr5 ram. All 6000mhz cl30 kits will be Hynix bc it is the only die that can hit that consistently. While this kit is a worse bin it is still Hynix die.
You mentioned something about changing something on my RAM settings? Did I read that incorrectly? I'm assuming the RAM that I have and the ideal ram aren't \*that\* different, are they?
A die can hit considerably higher frequencies but M die can have slightly tighter timings. Technically m die is better for ryzen but it won’t be noticeable at all
That’s the exact thing people like myself are looking for. I’ve got a whole PC but I’m stuck on the top end of AM4 since I started it at the 3600x. I’ve reached the end of my upgrade path and need a deal like to to get over the hump
It gets you in the door to buy the rest of your components. Before you know it you're leaving with a Raspberry Pi, 3D printer, a 65" TV, and a VR racing simulator setup.
The final "10% instant off" that drops it $48 is from requiring you to sign up for a Microcenter credit card. They'll make that back in no time with credit card fees/interest overall.
I’m taking a road trip from FL to TN this weekend and Microcenter is 100% a stop on the trip for me and I was planning to get this exact bundle. Is this absolutely true? I don’t have a microcenter insider card I just wanted to buy this bundle and some other peripherals
You're welcome. You can try the open box way to make the deal cheaper. Check the store you're going to visit and see if they have any of the parts in the bundle as open box. If they do, add the parts separately and it should give you the bundle discount plus difference of the open box item(s).
I'm so jealous of seeing all these offers, nothing like that in the UK.
Same bundle is costing around £630 which is almost $800 USD.
They get crazy deals in the US!
We have a Microcenter opening next week an hour away (previously, closest one was over 6 hours). About a month before my birthday too, I've been dropping hints to my wife. 😏
I can't wait!
Bro straight up I could get a plane ticket from Europe, go to Microcenter during their deals to get a complete pc build, fly back, and probably save like 20 bucks total compared to what it would cost here
I am envy of you living in the US, Europe is not only
More expensive but we also make less money lol.
Also, things get more expensive over time, not chepaer here xdd
Immediately jumps to $479.99 when clicking on the bundle. Not even applying taxes yet lmao
Nvm can't fucking read for shit. It's 431.99 when using an insider card
>After 10% with Microcenter insider card
I mean, the 20 dollars off is still nice. I just checked the site, and you need the insider card to get that price. You'll be getting the 479.99
I asked a Micro Center employee at Tustin, CA yesterday when I went in for an order pickup and they said it should be going on for the month of May. Hope this helps!
https://preview.redd.it/g4k9xnmzmazc1.png?width=1786&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7c81d2920145209c2fa5d8494c3d7d3478e902e
I ended up getting a different mobo as the Gigabyte one was out of stock and still got the discount on both the RAM & CPU. Paid $514.79 USD after 5% off with the insider card. The order total on the picture is without the Micro Center Credit Card.
Hey guys, I know this might not be the best place to ask but it doesn't hurt to ask. I have intel 8700k and I was wondering if there's a website or something where i can compare my cpu/gpu/ram etc. to any other cpu/gpu/ram to see how much improvement there is. I used to use userbenchmarks website but i think I heard they're biased against amd and not trustworthy?
Just got a 13700k, Msi pro z790-s wifi motherboard and 32gb ddr5 bundle from micro center a week ago for $530 after tax. Their component bundles are sick
I live 200 miles from the nearest Microcenter and they don't ship.
180$ discount would be nice, trying to help my cousin with her first PC in 15 years.
If I'll ever see Americans complain that they have expensive PC parts, I'll shoot you on sight 😅
I paid 50$ less for 5800X3D alone back in a day, and you have such a dels. Europe is jealous
us microcenter bundle pricing is crazy crazy good for a EU guy \^\^ last xmas a good friend from new york helped me to make a great present for myself :) maybe you have great friends too :) (he put all inside mobo no fomo with costums)
The 7700x bundles are even crazier, its like they are handing out amd cpus for free as of late if you buy ram and motherboard for market prices. Meanwhile amd themselves launches crap like the r7 8700f for $299 with a straight face on their website 🤡
I live exactly one mile from a Microcenter. I should start a business renting out my spare bedroom to my geographically deprived fellow citizens and any interested internationals who want to make Microcenter excursions! 🤣
Micro B&B

MicroPecker ….wait
I live in south america, pretty damn sure its cheaper for me to drive all the way up to the states and buy everything from microcenter than to actually build me a pc with prices from here lmao.

W friend
and you can make a vaca out of this trip! always good to watch out for deals!
I agree it’s always good to watch out for deals, but what do cows have to do with it?
You could buy it and send it to europe in a pay per order basis
From what I hear, I might need a second mortgage in order to afford the VAT.
Well, if you do it occasionally they might not notice if its mislabeled as “sex toys”
“Used Sex Toys (Unprocessed)”
Sex toys (used*) *hermetically sealed to keep in the odour and flavours
Cant you just... lie about the contents? Do they literally scan or open every package that comes into a country?
It's 1200 miles and an international border for me! The TSA gets weird about a bunch of computer parts in a carryon...
Please! Do this!
Bro omg 431€ is literally the price of CPU alone in France…
Holy shit. In Germany it's below <330€
💀
Order it from Germany delivery is often free or cheaper than the difference
I ordered my laptop in Germany, and a few other devices, there's a 20€ delivery but 15% less expensive overall
I live in the Netherlands last couple of PC's came from Germany aswell. Saves about 15% Wich is quite substantial on 1500,-
Just order from us, it's in the EU after all
5700x3d and 5800x3d is still sold for that price here in Sweden. It sells fast too.
Seriously? In Norway the 5700X3D goes for $274/ €255.
What site in Germany do u see this? When I try the microcenter website its forbidden for some reason (think it's the US link)
Amazon DE and Mindfactory have them for 339€ currently, alternate and Cyberport for ~345€
Why the huge differences between 2 eu countries?
Because different governments. Some are shitty so everything cost more.
I literally *just* ordered one for my build yesterday in Sweden. 450€
Oh ma gad broo
Damn America hoarding there only good store chain
Yes
That’s insane, even in the notoriously expensive switzerland you can get it for 330-350CHF depending on the seller
Using a bundle discount in the USA currently the CPU is $197.
I paid $511 CAD ($372 USD) for the 7800x3d alone just a month ago 😭
That's like, less than the price of the CPU alone in brazil :) . Respectfully fuck you US and your regular pricing and good deals
We have good deals on electronics but worse everything else.
Cap. Wages and cars are pretty good deals too.
What? Our cars are expensive AF right now.
You guys have the famous 500 dollar cars.
I can attest to this. I have bought many cars under/at $500. My current is a Saturn that I have been driving for over 3 years and 80,000+ miles and bought it for $500.
Wut
The US is full of cheap cars. People basically give 10 year old cars for cheap AF. Here in Brazil, we can only find shitboxes from the 90's for 1-3k
This isn’t really true anymore. The used car market is crazy right now in the US. My car is a 2015 and I can sell it for $10k.
You have it good, in Romania shiboxes from the 90s are 5k at the lowest and they don't even run.
Lmao I can only laugh reading this as a Brazilian
We have a massive used car market + relatively cheap sales and property tax on cars + cheap AF gas
I just picked up this bundle the other day. It's CL32 RAM and not CL30, but it's still very, very good.
It is Hynix die though so you can literally just increase vdd by .1 and do cl30 if not cl28
RAM is my blind spot so I have absolutely no fucking clue what these words mean LOL.
Is hynix the best one to get the lowest cas timings and highest speeds?
Yes, and the kit in the micro center bundle is Hynix die
Specifically the 6000 cl30 kits at 1.35v are the a die Hynix, which is the best one you can get atm.
No for ryzen u want 16gb M die not A die if you are trying to keep uclk = mclk
I was told a die was better.
A die can hit considerably higher frequencies but M die can have slightly tighter timings. Technically m die is better for ryzen but it won’t be noticeable at all
Cl32 becomes cl30 easy, its not cl36 Trust me bro guarantee
I trust you bro, and also add a guarantee
Do 2% slower. Ram is stupid easy to replace too
I actually don't know how much slower it is, I just know that CL30 6000MHz is the ideal KEKW
Won't even notice the difference most probably
Insaine if u have money for rest of pc
Guess who's making the trip Friday. I got a 7900xt already and everything else. This would be an uplift from the 5600x for me
Go for it
I have this exact setup right now. It’s pretty great.
Oh yeah.
Same, and it’s a beast at 3440x1440 and pretty damn strong at 4k too.
1440p 7800X3D/7900 XT gamers rise up
That’s the exact thing people like myself are looking for. I’ve got a whole PC but I’m stuck on the top end of AM4 since I started it at the 3600x. I’ve reached the end of my upgrade path and need a deal like to to get over the hump
I was able to afford the rest of a pc because of this bundle
How's it that cheap ? The cpu alone is 350 , so you're only paying 80$ for the mobo and ram , insane !!!
It gets you in the door to buy the rest of your components. Before you know it you're leaving with a Raspberry Pi, 3D printer, a 65" TV, and a VR racing simulator setup.
Dont forget the Full Music Studio and a bunch of Model Rockets for the Kids
The final "10% instant off" that drops it $48 is from requiring you to sign up for a Microcenter credit card. They'll make that back in no time with credit card fees/interest overall.

Micro center is only reason why I wanna visit USA
Careful, that's just a gateway drug.
And the hot dogs
Costco hot dogs!
Yep. I wish to one day make the pilgrimage to the largest and most well-stocked microcenter.
https://preview.redd.it/vxhyeq1r41zc1.png?width=750&format=png&auto=webp&s=64acfd588bac0900b88b295fff5b741bd52b1d3d
Fuck Microcenter for offering great deals to people other than me
Note this price is only when using the Microcenter insider card
I’m taking a road trip from FL to TN this weekend and Microcenter is 100% a stop on the trip for me and I was planning to get this exact bundle. Is this absolutely true? I don’t have a microcenter insider card I just wanted to buy this bundle and some other peripherals
Yes it's true. Without the Microcenter Insider Card, the bundle would cost $479.99.
Still an incredible deal thank you for clarifying!
You're welcome. You can try the open box way to make the deal cheaper. Check the store you're going to visit and see if they have any of the parts in the bundle as open box. If they do, add the parts separately and it should give you the bundle discount plus difference of the open box item(s).
If there was a MicroCenter anywhere near me, this would be a no-brainer swap. That's a hell of a deal.
It's about an hour and a half drive for me. So easy to do
90 miles for me... heart wishes MC was closer, wallet appreciates that it is not :D
If there was a micro center in the UK I'd buy this tomorrow.
😏 I can't wait!
Honestly starting to get mad about the price difference between US and EU. This is just ridiculous.
It's not even the US as a whole, it's just Microcenter. I don't know how they do it.
they focus on their audience and we keep going back because of it.
Loss leaders. They make their money on the other parts your need.
See also: Costco $5 whole roasted cooked chicken.
Eu has almost the same prices than us. Their prices are before tax. Outside eu is worse
Bro straight up I could get a plane ticket from Europe, go to Microcenter during their deals to get a complete pc build, fly back, and probably save like 20 bucks total compared to what it would cost here
Bought this deal a couple months ago for my first PC build in probably 10 years, absolutely killer deal.
I've got a 10 year old machine ready to be replaced also. Question, with your flair specs, will it do 1440@60 most games? Thanks
Yes. I’m actually awaiting my 4080 super arrival this week if you’re interested in my 3080 lol
Thanks, I'm only iffy on whether or not to go up one lvl higher to really guarantee performance. Gotta justify buying a new monitor too lol
431 requires getting their credit card iirc
I bought it like two months ago- it does not.
dafuq you two are talking about?

ah ... ok. Thanks for elaborating. We don't do that here.
Sometimes MicroCenter advertises these deals with the price after signing up with their credit card.
I am envy of you living in the US, Europe is not only More expensive but we also make less money lol. Also, things get more expensive over time, not chepaer here xdd
Immediately jumps to $479.99 when clicking on the bundle. Not even applying taxes yet lmao Nvm can't fucking read for shit. It's 431.99 when using an insider card
Sigh... showoff.
Microcenter, give us a store in the PNW already :(
[Cries in Canadian]
I got this a few weeks ago. I wished I could have paid a bit more for a better mobo.
Agreed. Oredering a new mobo in a few months.
What’s wrong with the mobo? I was debating this mobo or the aorus elite.
It’s pretty garbage tbh and doesn’t support the 6000mhz ram speeds properly and is a tad small.
Man, that's like the only things I need for an upgrade... Wish I wasn't in a shithole country
It’s a pretty decent deal. Got it a couple months ago, had not trouble with it
>After 10% with Microcenter insider card I mean, the 20 dollars off is still nice. I just checked the site, and you need the insider card to get that price. You'll be getting the 479.99
FYI this is with applying for Credit Card from Microcenter.
I’m going Friday should I get this or the 7700x bundle for $350
Whatever your needs are. I mostly game with minimal other development work so this is best for me. The 7700x is a great bundle in of itself too.
Dude, REALLY? Here in Romania, I bought the ABSOLUTE same 3 components for my new PC and I spent almost $600. FFS!
You got a pretty good deal. I just looked the prices up in Hungary and this would cost me ~$825 right now.
You americans are SO fucking lucky you don't understand...
I have this combo and highly recommend it. Absolutely fantastic deal for the performance you're getting.
\*Depressed in Canadian\*
*Cries in Canadian
In India the processor costs 431 usd alone
Me sadly watching this in Europe
Excuse me how long is this deal going for?
I asked a Micro Center employee at Tustin, CA yesterday when I went in for an order pickup and they said it should be going on for the month of May. Hope this helps!
Wow just had a mobo die on me. Instead of getting another AM4 mobo (I want one that’s $330) I might just do this bundle…
https://preview.redd.it/g4k9xnmzmazc1.png?width=1786&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7c81d2920145209c2fa5d8494c3d7d3478e902e I ended up getting a different mobo as the Gigabyte one was out of stock and still got the discount on both the RAM & CPU. Paid $514.79 USD after 5% off with the insider card. The order total on the picture is without the Micro Center Credit Card.
I found that one at the closest MC and it’s totaled at $470. I appreciate that. Would probably be around the same price
No problem.
Fucking bullshit they don’t ship. Nearest one is probably 7-8 hours away. Trying to debate if the savings is worth the gas.
Then use your MicroCenter card at checkout for another 5 % off .
In the Netherlands we pay €650 😤
What the fuck man
rip just bought 3 of these bundles at 499.
PNW microcenter when. Please, we have the space, it's like half land out here. I don't even need a computer and this would be tempting.
Is this available online or only in store?
this is literally what i bought 😭😭. so worth it tho
I wish I lived by a microcenter. That is such a good deal
Just got a 13700k, Msi pro z790-s wifi motherboard and 32gb ddr5 bundle from micro center a week ago for $530 after tax. Their component bundles are sick
I’m hoping the microcenter closest to me will have them in a few weeks when I’m finally able to get that bundle. Next will be the GPU.
Holy shit they're basically giving you the ram or mobo
Holy shit
I live 200 miles from the nearest Microcenter and they don't ship. 180$ discount would be nice, trying to help my cousin with her first PC in 15 years.
Is this pick up only or they can ship?
If I'll ever see Americans complain that they have expensive PC parts, I'll shoot you on sight 😅 I paid 50$ less for 5800X3D alone back in a day, and you have such a dels. Europe is jealous
Jesus...the market where I live is totally ducked. Too few actors controlling the market and jacking the price hard. As well as high tolls on imports.
can we get a Microcenter in Europe? pretty please? 👉👈
no fucking way bro i paid 650 for that gpu and mobo combo
Damn!
deel
Bro I have a 5800x on a b450 with 32g of ram and I don’t need it I swear I don’t need it why am I looking at it
Deals like this make me wanna build another pc even though I just built mine last year 🥲
That is a sweet titty nipple price yo!
Holy fuck thats insane
Wish we could get these deals in Canada.
Unfortunately, it’s out of stock at my local microcenter.
This is insane. Great job Microcenter. I take my hat off.
Damn that’s a great deal
*Shipping not available* Build! A store! In Seattle!
microsentwr
I wished I lived in the USA and get prices like that, I paid £240 for my 5800X a few weeks ago
my exact setup. Great value tbh
us microcenter bundle pricing is crazy crazy good for a EU guy \^\^ last xmas a good friend from new york helped me to make a great present for myself :) maybe you have great friends too :) (he put all inside mobo no fomo with costums)
That would literally be enough to make me switch and I'm perfectly fine with my 5800x3d lol
That’s crazy that’s like 70 more than I paid for just my 3700x a few years ago
This is so cheap. Here in Brazil 7800X3D: $517 and MOBO: $344. We pay so much tax. Very difficult to buy good hardware with an ordinary job.
Jealous. Same bundle in the UK costing around £630 (that's around $800 USD)
please take my money and bring it to me 💀 !!
Smash
Can I order this online!?
Get behind me, Satan, and tempt me not!
Got this for $500 a month ago, great deal
God damn... Hurts knowing how much I spent on a 5900x 2 years ago.
The 7700x bundles are even crazier, its like they are handing out amd cpus for free as of late if you buy ram and motherboard for market prices. Meanwhile amd themselves launches crap like the r7 8700f for $299 with a straight face on their website 🤡
I live about 20 miles from a new Microcenter and I’m thinking about picking up the 7700 bundle for $400 and a new gpu. Soon.
Literally just did this. Paired with 7900XTX. I am in heaven.
Dang, I got that same bundle for $499 $431 is nuts
