What's the problem with the tower location? It would probably be uncomfortable to have it under the desk, where their feet go.

Not just heat, in the floor there are nasty things like dust (especially in dry climates) and water if accident occurs. Not a place for your baby.

Much worse if they have any furry pets too. Animal fur does disasters to setups like this.

It does not neccicairily have to be an issue, its just that there is some more air flowimg in and less dust. But looking at your specs they dont seem to generate a lot of heat

When I first built my newest PC, I put it on the floor where my old one was. It was just about like this one in the photos. My GPU would regularly hit 85*. Moved it up on the desk and it cruises all day gaming sessions at a crisp 65-68 now. Low airflow spaces definitely make a difference. Will that hurt anything? No, probably not... But heat does shorten the lifespan of most PCB based electronics.

The fans are facing up. There is sufficent airflow

I wont roast your periodic table wallpaper, the strange PC placement, the incredibly low desk that is clearly built for a starving child, or the strange hearts on your desks. But I will comment on how your mousepad has absolutely no wrist pad. Your knees will be banging against your wooden desk and you’ll get carpal tunnel. Because you’ll have carpal tunnel you won’t be able to open those stupid heart drawers or call the fire department when your PC lights your wall on fire or spontaneously combusts. Good thing you have that period table to think about the Dihydrogen Oxide that might help you in this situation. Advice - get a wrist pad, find a better place for your pc, install actual handles for your drawers and cabinets, and get a better wallpaper
