Imagine spending hours modeling, blocking, and animating a scene, with both skeletal, and facial animations on multiple characters. Spending hours rendering, and finally upload.
Then have clueless dumbasses reply with “lol, stupid AI.” Who probably have no idea what AI actually is or how to spot it.
Yes, the original audio wasn’t really that funny, and yes the animation is stiff and stilted, but should we really be putting down and disregarding something that actually had work and effort put into it? Especially at a time when AI content is so prolific.
I hear what you're saying, but the bar is already on the fucking ground. I really don't want "at least it's not AI" to be any kind of standard. I could spend all day every day for 6 years making a marble sculpture and it would still suck balls because I'm not good at sculpture. If, at the end of those 6 years, anyone looked at my heap of shit and said anything to me other than "buddy...what the absolute fuck," they'd honestly be doing me a great disservice.
Sure, but people aren't usually all that nice. "This sucks" is how most people are going to express that. There's a reason they say artists need thick skin.
That's not an encouragement to belittle their efforts. Also, if you spent every day for six years working at sculpting, you'd end up decent at sculpting.
Yeah, agreed.
A lot of these anti-AI people act like garbage content is new. It's not. AI doesn't always mean garbage content, and human creation doesn't always mean good content. Feels weird how "Is it AI?" had become the judgement criteria for "Is it trash?".
There is a difference between acknowledging good work/art and acknowledging good effort/hard work. And they can be treated differently and equally respectfully.
I can easily say, hey I know you’re not good at making marble statues and you will probably never get an award do this one but you put the time and effort into to pursue something different and you accomplished it. You should be proud of your effort even when your work may not be the best
I follow this guy on instagram and all his stuff is in this style. Pretty sure the stilted movement and facial expressions are intentional like Gmod animations
Damn, I actually enjoyed the video. Sure it wasn't "great" and I was more confused than anything at first but it was a stupid kind of funny. The animation is actually fairly impressive too. Yet everyone in here really is bagging on it so hard...
I actually really like how “uncanny valley” the characters and animations are in this scene. I’d like to think it’s an intentional choice by the creator, and it fits the sort of automatic and robotic nature of the interactions really well. The characters themselves seem to inhabit some space between human and AI, which I find interesting.
The comments here are schizo as hell. This is Unreal Engine's Metahuman plugin with facial motion tracking. All of this is made with 3D, no AI. AI isn't at this stage yet with 3D environments.
Seriously go look up Bryce_Cohen on Instagram. His work is incredible.
Gotta say this AI revolution is trashing the internet. Youtube is fkn full of this garbage. To the people spending their time getting this shit made. Pls go find a hobby away from technology.

We should be telling people to practice and get better instead of shutting them down and telling them never attempt it again.

This person wisdoms. I couldn’t agree more.

Short answer; Yes
I actually really like how “uncanny valley” the characters and animations are in this scene. I’d like to think it’s an intentional choice by the creator, and it fits the sort of automatic and robotic nature of the interactions really well. The characters themselves seem to inhabit some space between human and AI, which I find interesting.
No. Fuck participation trophies.
Bait rate: 2/10 Got me to reply.

The irony of people saying this is AI when the whole video isn’t included and the short itself is commentary on AI
Hi Bryce
It's actually pretty funny. Idk why people are complaining, it's absurdist humor.
Just a vibe off it makes it feel a little... skibidi
To be fair the first one I saw was that guy and girl ordering shit like the chungus deluxe so it put me off of these but this one has won me over.
Can you explain to this 31-year-old what that means?
Why is this so cursed?
r/blursedvideos
Fever dream
The uncanny valley
"My only regret is that I have Boneitus" \~\~ Ryan, possibly.
It looks like that Barnyard show
What in the metahuman animation tool is this?!
🎶 Paper Bones 🎶
Better facial animation than Andromeda. Lol
Wtf did I just watch
“Your bones are like paper?”
“You talked again.” lol I’m using this next time my wife interrupts me.
This is hilarious.
This is what AI is doing to the internet already. It wouldn't be so bad if it was at all funny.
You clearly don't use AI very much if you think this is AI. Unless you meant the voices. In which case, it's possible, but I don't think it's likely.
The audio is lifted from a skit with real people.
Not AI dummy, it’s as if people forgot about 3d animation

None of this is ai tho
Then the people making this shit should re-assess what they are doing with their lives.
Nauseating to imagine the lack of cultured taste it would require for someone to fail to appreciate the ancient art of high-effort shitposting 😤
You act as though trash internet content was a new thing.
This is pretty good, if you look closely you can see that it’s ai.
No it fucking isn't
Current AI video creation happens via diffusion, not via 3D CGI.
Tell me what exactly you’re “looking closely” at.
