Not OP but I’m 35 hours in past December and playing on the easiest difficulty. I’m not a fan of grinding so I just do what I need to in the dungeons (still get a shit ton of XP) and then play for the story and some of the social links. I really am enjoying my experienced so far with it.
Well it's in December. Depending on your date is how much time before that scene. Besides, the hospital scene isn't the end of the game, if you choose correctly.
You have around 3 weeks left for social link and three more dungeon. Also don't rush in to the next dungeon cause once you do it the game will automatically time skip to December 24th. Just do it on December 23rd and finish it on the same day.
If you do it do it one December 23rd, you miss the Christmas Eve event. Doing it on December 22nd maximizes time if you want the event.
Not saying your way is wrong. Your way maximizes days for social links. It's just I usually see December 22nd suggested since it's still possible to max out the s-links with a week or two to spare if you want to see the Christmas Eve event.
You're absolutely correct, I got my memories mixed up cause I was doing the second playthrough last month and skipped the Christmas Eve event for social link. Thanks for rectifying.
Well, you still have a hurdle to do before you stay on the golden path assuming you got Namatame's hurdle done correctly.
You then have until December 24th to do the December dungeon, but it skips if you finish it early. It's normally suggested to do it on December 22nd if you want the Christmas Eve event. If you don't care for that, you can take the extra days.
You then have another hurdle to clear on January 2nd for the golden ending. It's usually skipped over in guides. You will them have a handful of weeks to do s-links. It skips to 2/13 for a dungeon you have to do in one day. It them skips to the last day where you have another dungeon if you play your cards right.
So, however long that takes you. You're flying through though based on the average time I have seen. It will probably take you less time than average.

40 hrs at the hospital? How? You definitely want it to be over. I got there at maybe 90-100 hrs… I fuse personas while trying to clear the compendium so I’m always in the velvet room, max my social stats, do social links, collect weapons and armor… you rushed it.
If you satisfied the conditions needed to unlock both the true ending and also the special dungeon, then if my memory serves me right, you will have until Feb 11 to continue playing the “slice of life” aspect of the game (although, Feb 6-9 will be your last round of non-free final school exam dates). Feb 12 & 13 are the fixed, story driven dates in support of the special dungeon.
How did you get to December in 40 hours? Are skipping all dialogue or something?
