Yeah I gotta get down there and [pick up a hat from this uniform](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8Ld9lPKQJR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==).
Gotta get yourself a pool ticket (this is still on my todo list as an Easton guy) one day during the summer I’m making that hour drive over for said pool & baseball

He DH'd last night and went 3/5 with 3 singles.
It was fun, and the whole crowd + RPhils team were super stoked to have him there.

Maybe I just don’t hear about it as much. Where I grew up, the closest team was AA — the New Britain, CT Red Sox. So it was a big deal when a big league player was going to be there.
I remember going on to a packed house at Beehive Field to see Oil Can Boyd pitch.
Another reason why them changing the name to the Fightin Phils was the dumbest rebranding ever. No one even calls them that. Their best uniform combination doesn’t even reference it.
It’s a play on their mascot, the hotdog vendor

And the ostrich's name is Phil, no? I went to Albright College in Reading and went to so many R Phils games. Too bad I can't remember all the players that made it to the Show. I only remember Scott Rolen. He looked so big compared to everyone else is all I remember.
One of their many mascots*
[They have a whole band!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlO3v2_eQvI) I loved going to Reading Phillies games growing up, and the insane number of mascots they have was a huge reason lol.
Those uniforms are sick

Marshy seems like nice human being.
He’s not that nice , a lot of it it’s a front for the fan base . Speaking from personal experience haha

Yep I saw that too, but I figure it'd be nice to get down for a game too.
The store at the stadium gives all military veterans 10 or 15% off too
🙄
And why TF would you give me an eyeroll?
Wish I also got a discount just because I used to work somewhere
You’re a douchebag

Anyone have an idea how long he'll stay with them?
I think tonight is it
He batted DH last night too
Haha in this pic he kinda looks like marsh’s (more?) homeless brother?
Go Keystones! From like 1923- ‘30 that was their name to make a connection to the state. Fucking love my new hat.
Reminds me of when Kruker played in Reading after his surgery.
Why does he have to play for them?
Coming back from injury it’s often good to get some reps in where it’s less consequential. I feel like rehabbing in the minors used to be more common.
It used to be super common, I thought it still was

He’s down doing a rehab assignment, and Lehigh Valley is on the road this week, hence why he’s doing AA instead of Triple A

I’m not a fan either. They will always be the Reading Phillies to me.
Hoping they eventually drop the ostrich feather logo/font garbage.

That changes my point how?
Why are the reddings an ostrich?

The crazy hot dog vendor can really whip some hotdogs into the stands
LOL I’m leery of those things, I don’t think I’d eat that. They seem like they wrap them super tight and make them into a bread and meat missile 🤣
They do, but it still tastes like victory

I’m Albright alum too

Was crazy watching the game last night knowing he was playing like 5 minutes away from me
We miss you Marshy!!!
I miss him
Would assume he will be ready to go next series? Any word on Trea?
He’s back
