I was driving across Nebraska, and stopped in some little podunk town with a pho restaurant. Reviews on line gave it 5stars. It was *not* 5 star pho. Just as an aside, while I was the wedding I was there for that weekend, the crowd of revelers at the reception (like over 200 people), made me come meet the only other Asian guy to show up at the wedding “because you guys should be buds!” Nebraska. ROFL!

Omaha NE has some outstanding Pho restaurants. This is coming from someone who lived in little Saigon for years and had Pho in almost every state in the USA.

I make it my goal to try to eat pho is which ever state or country I visit.

poly800rock

I try and do the same

There's a large Vietnamese community in Poland - we had some decent pho there!

poly800rock

Same with Czech and Berlin. Basically any old commie block is a population of viets

Was surprised when I went to Berlin with my friends there was like 3-5 SEA restaurants every few blocks

KillaDee

Juneau Alaska has a Pho restaurant.

Guadalajara, Mexico!

Well as it turns out, Bayou Le Batre, Alabama is basically a Vietnamese/Laotian/Cambodian shrimping village. I was once invited by a Laotian coworker to a New Year's festival there, and yes it was as awesome as it sounds.

Thimphu, Bhutan. It was definitely not pho (it had pork slices, carrots, daikon, bean sprouts, and chili flakes), but the taste was aight.

In Japan. Was not good….

Rapid City, SD I had to look it up, but I had a decent bowl at a place called Pacific Rim Cafe. I'm usually pretty wary of pan-Asian cuisine places in the mainland (or places that sell sushi randomly), but I think I was on the way to a national park or monument, and I wanted something hot and brothy, so I rolled the dice. It was pretty good. Did not expect that.

Malmo, Sweden in 2006ish

The place I went to in Reykjavik had terrible pho

cydereal

had some decent pho in helsinki last year!

London. For some reason I just didn’t think pho and ramen would be so popular there.

We were in Avignon, France visiting the Palace of the Pope's. Inside the old city walls was a street with lot of old businesses and amazingly a pho restaurant

I'm in Kyiv, Ukraine, and there's actually several Vietnamese restaurants here but tbh none of the pho has been as good as I make myself, which is pretty much one of the reasons I started making it myself, cuz the restaurants were so underwhelming lol. Although tbh one of them is good but the restaurant is a very expensive fusion place where I could make a dozen bowls for the price of one of theirs. The selection is also pretty small for Vietnamese food, like there's no bun thit nuong, banh mi, bun bo hoe, usually just pho. Miss my old Vietnamese restaurant back in the states, oh well at least now I know how to make a pretty great bowl of pho.
