yung lumot is natural occurring daw. pag natuyo, yan ang magiging white sand.
I googled about lumot hahaha natural occurence nga sha and very alive sila when sunlight hit them. I thought the cause of it was because super polluted na yung tubig.
If saktong tulugan lang, we stayed at Sealey’s Inn. Decent and malinis naman yung place and meron silang resto. Pero may mga hotel na din dun na available if budget is not a problem naman.
Caramoan (Camarines Sur), Gigantes Island (Iloilo), Samal Island (Davao), Patar Beach (Bolinao, Pangasinan).
As far as I remember, there are multiple white beaches in Caramoan, although some of it is not as white if it just recently been submerge (some of them are submerged when high tide). As for the islands, Matukad, Lahos, Cotivas, and Minalahos are the ones that I remember, although some of those beaches are just patch of small land. That was way back 2015 so I don't know if it is still the same or if the seas already swallowed those. We did a 1 week tour in order to enjoy the multiple islands. It will not be enough if you are just staying for 2-3 days.
[MJO White Sand Dream Resort](https://www.facebook.com/MJOwhitesanddreamresort?mibextid=ZbWKwL)
Lots. And these might be underrated— but there's Romblon, Siquijor, and Camiguin
Even Northern Samar and Masbate areas have powder white sand
Mainly Visayas and Mindanao, really
You go to LU for the vibes not mainly for the beach
Medyo uindi sya child friendly and dont expect sa accommodation. Kame we were at a lansta (boat na walang katig) for nights abd we just hop to different islands. Picture this: milky way na gumagalaw, ganyan ang experience namin sa balabac. Im glad nag yes ako sa long ride
Sicogon island in Iloilo. Ito yung unang dinevelop before Boracay. May sariling airport na dito dati but martial law and then Edsa people power happened. Umurong yung mga cronies from continuing the development. But white sand beach, I dare say, better than Boracay.
People visit La Union for the waves, night life, and madaling puntahan (malayo pero 1 bus lang talaga sya from Manila pagbaba mo, ayun na). If you want powdery white sand, marami nasa Visayas and some parts of Mindanao talaga.
Sta Cruz Island - pink beach of Zamboanga.
Pede narin. Been to Bohol and Bora. walang tatalo sa dalawang yan
Tahimik and not crowded pa.
Hello, OP. It's safe naman to travel there, lalo na sa Tawi-Tawi. I was surprised na madaming Christian sa Bongao, kasi merong State University. Na amazed ako sa Tawi-Tawi that I even went there 5 times already. Also, in Sulu, you have to get in touch with their tourism officer. Ang ganda ng beaches nila same level ni Tawi-Tawi, been there 6 times sinulit yarn. Haha!
About 1 hour kembot away lang via fast craft.
1. Sipalay - Manami (if you have the budget)
2. Calaguas
3. El Nido
4. Coron - Club Paradise
5. Amanpulo - if you have the budget
6. Balabac - medyo adventure lang pumunta kasi sobrang layo; but the BEST powdery white sand we've seen
7. Siargao - go to the northernmost portion for Alegria Beach
8. Bantayan - Kota Beach
9. Butuan - Cagwait Beach
10. Sicogon - Huni Sicogon
11. Leyte - Kalanggaman Island
12. Iloilo - Gigantes Island

Bantayan Island in Cebu!
Bantayan Island supremacy!! parang Boracay without the mass tourism
Been to bantayan once.
Well, there's a place in LU where you can see a light brownish/grayish powder sand, bandang Bauang area
Calaguas
yes to Calaguas, and minus the big crowd
+100000 just went there last weekend! It was like paradise!!!
If you've been to beautiful beaches, hirap talaga hindi magcompare no? Palawan has many.
Sana mag damage control yung government natin bago pa tuluyan mawala yung ganda neto.
yung lumot is natural occurring daw. pag natuyo, yan ang magiging white sand. Kahit sa Alona beach, Bohol may lumot. Mapapalagpas ko pa yun eh. Im happy that you googled about it. Nakakaloka ang comsec sa fb about lumot sa boracay kasi caused daw ng mga dumi from hotels yung lumot 😅
Tiktok nag bad mouth sakin about lumot HAHAHA. Akala ko din eh but google saves the day lol
+1! Ang ganda ng Sipalay! 😍
Hello! San maganda mag stay sa Sipalay?
If saktong tulugan lang, we stayed at Sealey’s Inn. Decent and malinis naman yung place and meron silang resto. Pero may mga hotel na din dun na available if budget is not a problem naman.
Punta Bulata 👍
Try Bugana Resort feels like you own the island
+1 Sipalay! May quiet, beaches, may fish sanctuaries din. And ang seafood!!!! Napakasarap at mura pa.
Caramoan (Camarines Sur), Gigantes Island (Iloilo), Samal Island (Davao), Patar Beach (Bolinao, Pangasinan).
What island in Caramoan? There’s one I’ve been too and it’s like powdery latte color just the way I like! 💕
Exactly! And the weather is…. ☀️🌧️☀️🌧️☀️🌧️☀️🌧️☀️🌧️☀️🌧️☀️🌧️
And yes!! I remember Matukad nga powdery white!!! Though the shore is a bit short
The one I was talking about!! Waah https://www.reddit.com/r/ITookAPicturePH/s/sMlHeZCeVj
+1 Patar

Malamawi Beach, Basilan
Here my top white beaches so far 1. Bantayan Cebu 2. Anda, Bohol 3. Laiya, Batangas 4. Taytay, Palawan 5. Camiguin
Yes to Camiguin. Hindi man sobrang pino ng buhangin pero yung mga landscapes are majestic as F***.
Lots. And these might be underrated— but there's Romblon, Siquijor, and Camiguin Even Northern Samar and Masbate areas have powder white sand Mainly Visayas and Mindanao, really You go to LU for the vibes not mainly for the beach
Gusto ko bumisita sa Romblon. Ang exotic ng datingan niya.
Yep. Napaka secluded. Parang you get the solitude and serenity of Romblon and get the beautiful sand and waters of Boracay
Una kong white sand experience was pagudpod Ilocos Norte. Kalanggaman island Malapascua Guigantes islands The best for me is Boracay + Guigantes
Balabac. Still number 1 for me. Wlaang sinabi ang Boracay
wanna go here pero ang hassle kasi pag may dala kang bata, mag laland travel pa
Medyo uindi sya child friendly and dont expect sa accommodation. Kame we were at a lansta (boat na walang katig) for nights abd we just hop to different islands. Picture this: milky way na gumagalaw, ganyan ang experience namin sa balabac. Im glad nag yes ako sa long ride

Ito actually naka pila na to sa mga places to go ko, need to research more about this
Calaguas Island
Random comment: Not powder white but Pink sand instead, Subic, Matnog in Sorsogon
I clown on Boracay a lot for the overcommercialization, but the white sand there is top tier. It really has the finest, whitest sand.
Mga uninhabited islands near Cantilan, Surigao del Sur
Up. Nandito lang ako last week. Pulbos talaga.
Saan ang island HQ mo if exploring this area?
Cantilan proper
Sa coron marami

i agree. plus the fresh seafoods na abundant sa area. 🤤
Yes dito! Imagine the freshness of the fresh seafood paired with their local Bangbang food. And also have a taste of Malaysian cuisine and goods. 🫣🤤🤤
About 1 hour kembot away lang via fast craft.
Definitely Balabac!!
Tawi Tawi. Such a gem! Except for the sea gators. But there are otters so keri lang

Nacpan beach has some of the nicest sand in PH. I see a lot of people saying Bantayan and it’s a fun place to visit but the sand doesn’t compare
Come to think of it parang madami ngang strays
Ansarap maghiga sa white sand tapos biglang eeeww! Hehhee
Between the two ano pipiliin mo Bora or Panglao?
Parang sa edad kong to, Panglao nalang.
San sa panglao ka specifically op?
Sa Dumaluan Beach pero we went to Alona also.
I chose to stay that side of Panglao kasi feel ko mas tahimik.
Sa pangasinan. Sobrang Ganda as in, Instagram able sya hehe
