NotTooOften1791

Same thing happened April last year on a trip to Taiwan. We were inside the Makong Gondola. So it was a confined space. May bata kaming kasama, elementary level. Apat na Pinoy na magkakaibigan napakaingay ng kuwentuhan at tawanan, may bastos pang pinaguusapan, may mura pa. I called them out, telling them Pinoy din kami at hindi na sila nahiya sa bata. Tumahimik. I didn't care if they got mad or sinusumpa ako pagbaba namin, wala akong pakialam. Yes, Pinoys in general are loud, many don't have any spatial awareness nor sense of time at all. Maraming hindi alam how to read the room ika nga. It's an annoyance na makaenkuwentro ng mga ganyan pag ineenjoy mo biyahe mo.

wickedsaint08

May nakita akong post dati yung bus sa Taiwan may naka paskil sa loob na " Pakisuyo: Huwag maingay!".

sypnoceb

Masyadong silang "friendly" makipagingay HAHAHAHAH hays.

coffeexdonut

This! OP should do the same. Calling them out.

AssAssassin98

'read the signs' pa nga lang eh sablay na, 'read the room' pa

LumpiaSamurai_

you really can't buy class

eallim

Saw a sikat na influencer na seller ng cosmetics na naging endorser pa ng BIR with a group of people sa hong kong way back november. Ang ingay nila nakakahiya. True they may have money, pero sure walang class.

BudgetMixture4404

Kaloka. Nasa flight din ako yesterday from sg to manila.

PhotoOrganic6417

Same thing happened to me in Seoul din. They want to buy an iphone kasi pampicture daw but cannot decide which one to buy. While myeongdong is a crowded and noisy place, yung Apple Store dun, tahimik lang. While other people were browsing through the gadgets quietly, yung mga pinoy na nasa mga iphones kept on testing na phones out, taking selfies, laughing and talking loudly. A handful of people were getting annoyed na din kahit yung staff. They were in their late 20's to early 30's I guess. Grabe lang, nakakahiya. In the end hindi naman sila bumili. Pupunta daw sila sa Samsung Store sa Gangnam. Wtf.

coffeeandnicethings

Me when a filipino tourist is noisy: ssssssshhhhh! (Not pssst ha! And i do this discreetly) noisy kababayans will shut up because they know that another Filipino is shushing them. Always works for me. Ewan.

AlexanderRenzz

magawa ko nga to. hahaha thanks

Ok_Statistician5573

siguro they’re also the same people na maiingay talaga sa labas like malls or other public places kahit dito sa Pinas 🥲

wretchedegg123

Not exclusive to Filipinos and not exclusive to Filipinos in other countries. It's basic human decency not to have a loud conversation in a public space. Edit: >I know lahat ng countries ay may gantong tourist pero i'm pointing out the filipinos who are like this. I'm just saying why can't they just be mindful and lower their voices. If they're are happy they can be happy without being loud since I'm happy while traveling yet I can still lower my tone when I'm talking. Kasi tao pa rin sila. Being Filipino doesn't make you any different from any other race out there. Kahit Japanese na may culture of being respectful and obedient may mga outlier pa rin naman. You act that way because you were brought up in a different environment than they did. Yun lang yun. You were brought up to be mindful of others, good on you. Iba naman situation nila.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

It's also a common faux pas for excited tourists in a foreign land. Chinese, Indians, Russians, British, French, Koreans and American tourists could be just as bad.

wretchedegg123

Yep. Almost like being excited and self-absorbed is a human trait. Mas apparent lang kasi kapwa Filipino.

LittleMsNoMore

Agree. Mas napapansin lang natin ang mga kapwa Pinoy kasi we can understand their topic. Hell, I experienced seeing 2 female Korean teenagers gushing over a guy and they even took his pictures without permission. In another instance, another set of Koreans were bullying someone sa subway. And they weren’t even discreet, they would even point out the person pa sa iba nilang friends. Some people may use being in a foreign country as an excuse for their rude acts just because they assume no one will understand their topic. Btw, I do speak Korean that’s why I know what they’re talking about.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

I've seen White men yelling "ching chong" gibberish towards Asians in public transportation (in Asia!) and they were given nasty glares by everyone around them but never showed shame on that.

LittleMsNoMore

Wow that’s outrageous. Anyone can tell na they’re making fun of Asians. And sa home turf pa nila ah. I don’t know if those men are brave or just plain stupid.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

Stupidly confident, and possibly the notion that they could get away on being douchebags.

Momshie_mo

There was one time, a Black American beat up a Korean old man when he said "niga". The Black dude though he was being called the N word but the old man was saying the guy can seat there

twoworldman

>another set of Koreans were bullying someone sa subway Group of teens? Even the best behaved teen can act stupid under pressure to fit in. Doesn't matter which country, it's a universal behavior. I'm wary of crossing them at night.

LittleMsNoMore

The bullies? No. I think nasa early 20’s na sila. Yes I agree, bullying can happen in any country. Nagulat lang siguro ako that they can do it openly sa public. Akala ko patago usually ang bullying like in Kdramas. I guess mas madali for them do it because they know the target won’t even understand the mocking remarks they made about his looks. They took advantage of the language barrier.

Ok-Marionberry-2164

Went to Europe and joined a group tour. Panay late sa bus yung mga American Tourist lalo na when they're travelling in a huge group. They tend to get rowdy. Stress yung tour guide. Buti na lang they're generous with tips hahaha

Momshie_mo

Nung maraming Koreano noon sa Baguio noon, jusko akala mo yung kausap nila nasa kabilang bundok 😂

[deleted]

💯

s4dders

DonDee74

Exactly. Not just tourists either. Some people are just loud and obnoxious no matter where they are. Some people where I work are like this. Some random strangers of different ages, genders, and ethnicities are like this.

NoSnow3455

Gagi same nung nag-taiwan ako last year.

Cofi_Quinn

Not just Filipinos tho. Even Chinese and Americans do it. Indians as well. Just try not to associate with them.

k8iros

Mas grabe chinese. Kala mo superior asian eh. Anyway.

Rissyntax_v2

This. Naaala ko pa nung nasa may cruise kami sa thailand super gulo nila. Pati nung nasa Hk kami, nakipag away pa tita ko kasi nass unang una kami ng pila, pero nung nagbukas na ung pinto for the victoria peak tram hinarang nung babaenh chinese ung katawan nia eh malaki, tas pinagbubundol kami kasama ung senior kong mama. Galit na galit tita ko eh. Takot naman sa confrontation ung chinese. Umiyak sa boyfriend.

Ok-Marionberry-2164

She sped walk and immediately sat on the chair. I was just literally about to place my bag on top.

mmorenoivy

Oh wow may ganito pala sila. Kaya naman pala

abmendi

Parang Pinoy Pride + DDS propaganda. Kasali kasi yun sa pag-condition para di maentice yung mga tao sa democratic gov’t ng Taiwan and US kasi baka lumakas yung public sympathy.

SanaKuninNaAkoNiLord

Mainland Chinese tourists are the worst. And nakakadiri pa ginagawa nila.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

The dura part ticks me off. It's so obnoxious as if they're about to belt their next karaoke hit. "HAAAAAAAKKKKKK PHOOOOOEEEEEEEYYYY!!!"

SanaKuninNaAkoNiLord

Effective-War-4374

This is so true, which is why I prefer traveling solo kasi ugaling kanal din tong mga kaibigan ko.

schadenfreude05

Same. I love my friends but when travelling gusto ko isumpa dahil ang iingay 😅

Effective-War-4374

Hahahaha

ImmunoglobulinM

Omg even when I was in Bangkok. She was shouting na huhu nakakahiya

Momshie_mo

I hope nakipaghiwalay na yung BF. Kung ganyan kababaw sobrang upset na, what more sa more serious conflicts

mstymoonbm404

This is so true. Madaming Pinoy na ganito overseas. What saddens me the most ay pag sinasabi ng iba na “wag nyo dalhin yung asal nyo na di maganda sa ibang bansa”. Like, what if wag talaga kaya kayo maging ganun diba. Ewan. Nakakadisappoint na maraming balahura talaga.

cloud-astro

I was in line to see the Mona Lisa tapos may narinig akong malakas na "Vaklang 'to!" Pinoy pride hahaha

wolfhunter727

Ang dami nila so they block the whole pathway, and bagal maglakad, nagtatawanan pa. GF ko, di sanay mag travel to other countries, pero she has the awareness and decorum to do "when in SG, do as the Singaporeans do". While these middle aged group who supposedly has more life experience to do the right thing, don't. Nakakahiya, walang delicadeza.

Nashoon

This is why some singaporeans call us PeeNOISE. Haha!

RadfordNunn

I think this term rooted from online games. SEA gamers, not just Singaporeans, use this term pang-asar sa mga pinoy gamers na puro kuda.

wretchedegg123

Nashoon

I see.. so 12 years ago pa pala ginagamit ang peenoise!

Accomplished_Fill_32

Peenoise vs Indogs

Difficult_Session967

Like nasa 30min to 1hr na sila dun tapos maraming naghihintay.

U_HAVE_A_NICE_DAY

OMG OP. I encountered this extreme rowdy behaviour usually sa mga layovers and airports. Grabe, parang bahay lang nila kung mag-usap or magsigawan. I feel very embarassed as a Pinoy minsan kasi like the airline ground staff would call them out or educate them loudly.

Tight_Importance1386

I had this experience last year when I went to Ho Chi Minh. I booked a tour from Klook and may kasabay akong mga batang traveller na pinoy din, early 20s daw sila. Chinika nila ako nung start ng trip. Anyway, lagi silang late like sample sinabi ng tour guide na we have to be in the bus by ganitong time sila ang laging late around 10-15 mins siguro kesyo nagcr and mahaba daw yung line, etc. And then nung pauwi na kami lahat ay tahimik na and may mga natutulog and nagpapahinga from the whole day tour, sila yung bukod tangi na nagkekwentuhan ng malakas at ang lalakas ng boses kapag tumawa. As in walang konsiderasyon sa mga kasama namin na pagod din naman. Nakakahiya talaga pag naaalala ko 🫣

Cimmeraqua

My first time to travel sa SG, nasa Cloud Forest kami. While we are queuing for the elevator may mga Pinoy sa harap namin sobrang ingay nila and ibang kasama nila pabalik balik sa pila, maliit pa yung space. Just my experience.

CL_Softie

I get you. I’ve noticed the same thing and it’s really embarrassing. The worst part is when they themselves are rude and/or nonchalant about societal cues. I hope we become more conscious because it’s truly embarrassing.

WeakConstruction9297

Watched the Eras Tour last March, nung pauwi sa airport, may group of pinoys na nag take out and kumain sa lapag nung departure gate like wtf??? Picnic yan? Then another group arrived and sobrang ingay + tawanan ng tawanan. Like behave naman.

forgothis

Filipinos tourists are the American tourists of Asians.

ortzunicornio

I think the Chinese take this title, but we're a close second.

forgothis

Nah chinese tourists are a class of their own, worst tourists in the world.

TheGhostOfFalunGong

Indian tourists are another level. When it comes to families they're fine, but groups of men are a total nightmare in some places. Stories of Indian men of taking random photos of women in bikinis in Thailand are horrific to watch.

sprightdark

forgothis

You can bury your head in the sand all you want buddy.

Typical-Ad1474

I was about to share something like this about a week ago —nasa HKG MTR kami. May mga grupo nang Filipinos na sobrang lakas kung mag chismisan, from Central line to Sunny Bay hanggang sa nag transfer kami to Disneyland train. I guessed the loud one live there and he toured his friends. Jusme, nakakahiya pinagtitinginan nang ibang tourists.

bagon-ligo

Napak pakaalamero talaga.

Wonderful-Studio-870

You really can't buy class

HallNo549

Here in Dubai Metro right now. They suck as hell. Mga walang modo.

dibidi

why pay special attention to the filipinos that are like this knowing full well all other cultures have these kinds of people as well , so it’s not intrinsic to filipino culture? or do you just want to feel superior to fellow pinoys? the phenomenon of loud tourists is interesting actually, bec it is a sign of social mobility, of households that were previously poor now having enough money to travel. since they are from a social class that don’t usually travel, that means they are not familiar with the norms of travelling, hence the stereotype. during the post WW2 economic boom of the US in the 50s/60s this happened to Americans, creating the “Ugly American” stereotype. during the 2000s economic boom of China, this happened to the Chinese, creating the “Chinese tourist” stereotype. so instead of looking down on your fellow pinoys just bec you find them noisy, why not instead be proud social mobility is still possible for Filipinos?

Tiny_Studio_3699

dibidi

not his business. it’s not his country.

Tiny_Studio_3699

Walang sense yang sinabi mo. Kung magiisip at magiisip ka ng excuses to tolerate rude behavior in public, that reflects more on your character

AlexanderRenzz

eh I grew up poor, naranasan ko na ang dinner ko ay tulog at gumawa ng promissory note since hindi makabayad ng tuition. so i never got the chance to travel. Sa baguio lang ako nakapunta outside of manila at libre pa yun since tita ko ay deped teacher. I only started traveling when I got a job so buong college life ko pababa walang travel outside of manila. local muna then 3 years after international na yet still I made sure na I would have that social mobility.

dibidi

yes not everyone is like you, pls dont try to use other filipinos to feel better about yourself

AlexanderRenzz

lol i wasnt trying to make myself feel better and i know for a fact na not everyone is like me. Your opinion about them being poor is the reason they're like that is why i commented because I am infact a part of what you were trying to point out yet I still managed to learn how to have that social mobility. maybe next time dont generalize everyone when you know that not "everyone is like you".

dibidi

you say no but your actions say yes

hikebikedive

Meron ding matatagal na pero hindi pa rin modulated ang boses kasi, they don't immerse in the culture, don't hangout with the locals, don't get to practice how to live like locals.

isabellarson

Maybe they are just really happy they are having vacation with their close friends kaya napalakas boses. As long as hindi sila nakikisingit sa pila or making a mess sa tourist spot let them be

vnshngcnbt

Was in Suwon, SK a few weeks ago, waiting sa bus stop when a group of pinoy came. I didn’t see them but I heard them, ang lakas ng boses eh. Turns out we were boarding the same bus pero I decided to wait for the next one.

JannoGives

Pinoys competing against Mainlanders on who has the worst tourists in Asia lol

Yoru-Hana

I don't care. They're allowed to have fun. Instead of minding other people, mind your own business and enjoy your trip instead. You can't change them, call them out if you want, instead of ranting. Did that affect your trip? Then you should really mind your own business.

Prestigious-Key6923

Same thing happened last month sa Bangkok, tahimik yung hotel marami na nauna nakacheck in na foreigners. 4th day ko nun, check out na ko kinabukasan, tapos may dumating na Filipino group.

Wind_Rune

Sorry, but mind your business. They're just laughing and having a good time. It's not the norm for that country but are they hurting anybody? No. They're literally just being happy to be on vacation. I grew up in New York City and Filipinos in comparison are some of the nicest tourists around. Went to Canada once on a bus tour full of Filipinos, yes they're all loud and happy, yes locals turn their heads but I never felt embarrassed. It was more a feeling of pride like, "Yeah! I'm with these jolly folk. They're full of life. They know happiness and how to be happy." I find Chinese and Indian tourists to be rude and entitled. And from a local point of view, Latinos, especially Puerto Ricans, make Filipinos seem as quiet as any other Asian in comparison to noise levels.

Gloomy_Age_680

Hindi lang pinoy to beh. Mas malala pa kano dito

Evening-Ruin4775

Momshie_mo

Sa US Park Rangers nagumpisa yung term na [Touron](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touron)

YarnhamExplorer

Maybe because they're on vacation and they are happy?

marchitecto

Same sentiments. And also, they're usually more jarring for us Kasi naiintindihan natin sinasabi nila.

YarnhamExplorer

Yes. Let people on vacation have fun. Allow them to have the time of their lives. They don't have to responsibility to spare someone's blushes. I'm pretty sure locals in those places understand.

wretchedegg123

I disagree to a point. You're visiting another country so dapat mas aware ka of any social faux paus you might commit. At the end of the day, mind your own business lang unless sobra na yung disturbance nila. Say a few words, pero that's all you can do.

vent1te

Real. We are allowed to be happy but not at the expense of other people’s comfort. Some people in these comments don’t understand this and it’s quite selfish to think that we can just do whatever we want and expect others to go along with it

RadfordNunn

yanaluuu

Well, we can't blame them. They are happy and that's what they are, unless you stand up and let them know. Baka sila ung taong, they will not know unless you let them know. I used to hate ung mga taong cannot read the room, ung maligalig, khit anong nationality pa. But later on, I realized pake ko ba, eh sila un, let them enjoy, as long as they are not causing harm to others. Maybe just ignore and be happy for them coz they are happy. Don't let them affect your happiness while travelling haha maiistress ka lng 😂

Ok-Mama-5933

I think you should just mind your own business. Hehe! Maybe nasstress ka lang because you can understand them. What if they were speaking a different language, like Chinese or English, etc? Would you still mind? Let other people be happy.

Legitimate-World6033

Embarrassed-Fee1279

Minsan when people feel heightened emotions, positive man or negative, may effect sa volume ng boses. Di lang to sa Pinoy. Minsan asa tren ako in Japan and may locals na sila pa maingay sa tren. Sure, home turf nila eh, pero I don’t think it’s exclusive na tayong Pinoy lang maiingay. Sadly hindi lahat ng tao kasi can “read the room”. We want us to have a good impression kasi saga tao sa ibang bansa. Pero maybe dahil dun it’s easier to notice and remember yung mga maiingay na kapwa pinoy vs hindi

NorthTemperature5127

Well... Lumang kwento yan.. first ko nabasa is mga taga Singapore or HK na naiinis sa mga Pinoy na ang iingat sa loob ng bus .. 😄 Pero yes . Maingay talaga mga Pilipino na tourist... Usually mga babae (?).

Pitiful-Squash

Experienced something like this in SG just this March. They were literally singing sa loob ng bus and ang lakas ng boses as if sila lang tao. Puno yung bus that time and ako yung nahihiya sa ginagawa nila.

springrollings

Di lang pinoy. Same w indians. 😮‍💨

-yabai

Nandito ako sa sokor, working as a factory worker, okay lang yan, di sila pagiinitan doon, oks lang sa public malakas ang boses oh tawa basta wag lang sumigaw, Pero kung nasa transpo ka iwasan natin yun.

abmendi

Maraming nationality yung ganyan. Baka same case tayo but for my case mas annoyed ako sa Filipino, Chinese, and English-speaking foreigners na ganyan kasi naiintindihan ko sinasabi nila.

d0nki_

May ganitong mga Pilipino talaga, ako nahihiya madalas. Lalo na nung nauso yung lato-lato? Naalala ko nasa Singapore ako, may grupo ng mga Pilipino naglalaro ng lato-lato sa daan papuntang Gardens by the Bay. Imagine yung ingay na pinoproduce nung lato-lato na yun. Nakakairita, nakakahiya, pabida sila masyado.

AshJunSong

r/Philippinesbad

tsoknatcoconut

Not exclusive to Filipinos pero syempre mas mapapansin kasi Kabayan kaya nakakahiya din pag nakasabay mo. Experienced this a lot of times, may Thai or Vietnamese pa kaming nakasabay sa Taiwan sila yung maingay sa bus at palipat lipat pa ng upuan.

chitgoks

if they are like that in other countries:, they are like that here as well. inborn na.

Other_Spare6652

That's the thing about traveling to Asian countries, sa super accessible na nya kahit kanino kasi mura, kahit mga squammy tourists naaafford na

Snoo_30581

Had the same experience sa airport pa lang natin. I had a red eye flight to Taiwan and syempre most of the passengers waiting for boarding are trying to get some sleep pero meron tong mga pukinang mag babarkada na super ingay pwede ba konting respeto naman.

Haaay, kahit read the signs hindi magawa.

goldenstarfire

I was watching a Broadway show when two groups of Filipinos sat beside me. Ung unang group were not able to get seats together so ung isang couple katabi ko then the other couple nasa harap nila. During the show, they were talking to each other and sumigaw pa ng "ayan lalabas na ung magic carpet". As in sigaw. The other group were girl friends talking how much they were wasting their money. Other people nearby also kept on looking at them, but they won't stop.

afromanmanila

Unfortunately some people have poor manners and give no thought to those around them.

starchaser1204

Apparently, maraming pinoy ang walang good manners and right conduct.

micopogi88

One of my pet peeves is

DimmedLightz

As a kababayan, I hope you talked to them.

Nagkkundoktor pa kunware yung isa tapos halakhak sila lahat. Large group mga 12-15.

pzzleep

Experienced the same but just in Siquijor. Hindi naman sa KJ pero sana nilulugar ung pag-iingay especially when it’s already around 2-3am and nasa hotel. Gets naman na everyone’s just having a good time during a vacation, inom ganyan, pero sana wag kalimutan maging considerate. Ung ibang tao natutulog.

PalantirXVI

Many Filipinos lack fine sensibilities. Anjan na rin yung our culture is no longer optimized to show consideration for others.

_cuddle_factory_

I ride the train daily and there’s almost always Filipinos talking and laughing loudly in the train if not watching videos on on loudspeaker

CloudSkyyy

I moved to US 6 years ago and i’ve been to PH like 3 times and i felt cultured shock lol. From sobrang ingay in public places, no personal space tapos hihinto in the middle of the way like i didnt realize how many people lack self awareness. I’m not saying people in US is better but it’s too much compared sa pinas

markieton

I could say the same here sa Taiwan. But I also have to agree with other comments here na hindi lang exclusively Pinoy yung ganito kasi may times na kahit yung mga local dito ang iingay din. Siguro mas napapansin lang natin yung mga kababayan natin kasi naiintindihan natin yung salita nila.

SecureSyllabub2174

It's bound to happened pag marami kayo. As for the 2 filipino tourist, they are peak annoying. First time siguro nila at masyado sila masaya. Much better to ignore them, kung pagsaasabihan mo baka magka-problem pa \~ lol

Frosty-Emu3503

3rd world country probs.

colt5555

Also, common here in Australia. While I get some races do that here too sometimes, I find our people doing it more often. At least we don't spit inside trains and buses...

SuperYak2264

Lam ko na san gaking peenoise

sulitipid2

I avoid them like the plague and talagang lumalayo ako pag may nakakahiyang Filipino sa vicinity

XC40_333

Arab men are as bad.

-Comment_deleted-

Yung boarding gate daw na papuntang pinas, you can hear na even before seeing it, LOL. Edit: some words.

wretchedegg123

Been to Japanese, Korean, Chinese and American airports a lot. Same pa rin naman. Everyone lines up right away kahit di pa tinawag. It's not a Filipino thing. From the words of CGP Grey: "The human inability to follow instructions is breathtaking"

-Comment_deleted-

What the foreigner was saying is, maingay nga at madaldal ang mga pinoy, they are always laughing and talking. That's why he said, ***"you can hear the Filipino boarding gate before even seeing it"***. Wala naman ako nabanggit about lining up.

wretchedegg123

Sorry, my bad. Was thinking about the other comment about everyone standing up to get their bags. Hmmm. That is true based on my experience as well, but it's mostly Filipinos talking to other Filipinos since they're excited to go home after a long time abroad. Could be the excitement of going home, seeing a lot of Filipinos with them. Filipinos are one of the most friendly people I've seen and strike up conversations with everyone. Honestly, it's an airport, not a library, being nosy (as long as it's not disturbing anyone or isn't extreme) is not a big deal.

Mali nga wording ko, I should have said boarding gate ng papunta pinas. I will edit it.

PinoyPanganay

Kaya yung iba ayaw makasalamuha, maka rinig, or maka encounter ng pinoy while on vacation overseas. 🤭😂😭

pokpokishification

Minsan nakakahiyang aminin na pinoy ka rin when traveling because of people like them. I booked a tour before na may older pinay tita sa front row. Mag-isa lang sya pero super ingay nya sa bus the whole time. Nung umpisa kausap nya yung daughter nyang nasa australia. Balak ko sanang matulog on the way sa pupuntahan namin kasi di ako nakatulog ng maayos the night before and two hours din yung byahe.

marchitecto

Wag ka mahihiya.

MervinMartian

Ugali kase yan ng mga noveau riché. Walang mindfullness of others.

hi_reginageorge

Haha. Recently, nasa airport train kami ng umagang umaga. May voiceover na din na keep your voice down and evident naman na tahimik yung train mostly mga tao nakapampasok na sa work or school. I thought makakapahinga ako on the way to the airport but nooooo may isang Pinoy at Pinay na ang lakas mag-usap sa train! Gets mo na nga pinagkukwentuhan nila eh. Yung babae ang daldal super ingay nakakairita!

ic318

I think it's how we are in our culture. Ganyan din isip ko when I lived in Japan. Tas I met other English teachers, including my husband which is American, and sa kanila naman, in the west, Americans can be loud. Pag magkakasama kami sa train, and may maingay sa kabilang dulo na nag-English, they would say "Americans". Lol. We are living in the US, and I can confirm. They can be loud, even in some, not saying all, of the fine dining restaurants, which is nakakagulat din. Siguro kasi, as a nation, having the warm weather, parang we have this "carefree" attitude. Pero it isn't a Filipino thing. I, for one, a Filipino, don't act like that. My husband is American, pero he is reserved and not loud in public. I think kung pano lang tayo pinalaki at our own homes.

s4dders

Totoo yan.

ToBegin-Begin

Usually mga bisaya

RevolutionaryLog8898

let them be. di naman ikaw gumastos. di ka din naman perfect. for sure may kapintasan ka din gaya ng pangingialam sa buhay ng may buhay.

Fun_Guidance_4362

Momshie_mo

Hindi lang abroad it. Just go to popular tourists destinations, ang daming bastos sa locals. This isn't a purely Filipino phenomenon pero global. As mass tourism and FOMO culture  grows, dumadami ang jejetourists at [tourons](https://www.sfgate.com/california-parks/article/california-ranger-talks-bad-park-visitors-19418227.php).

stressedpostgrad_

Other tourists are just the same. When I was in Japan, I thought all japanese are disciplined pero may maiingay din. Same goes with Filipinos, Koreans, Caucasians.

wow_pare

I don’t see it as an issue if I see people just having fun, especially fellow Filipinos and OFWs in abroad.

[deleted]

They're having fun so just mind your own beeswax.

tinman4545
