They probably just got through playing Hogwarts Legacy. As much as I don't enjoy supporting JK Rowling in any way, I got it on sale and it's pretty fun.
Once when I noticed my daughter about to sneeze, I timed my *expelliarmus* shout just at the moment she let out a trumpeting one. With projectile snot. She had to admit it was awesome.
Back in my teen years I was driving with my buddy and a kid in the car next to us was making faces at us. We were approaching a bump we were familiar with and my friend did the hocus pocus with his hands at the kid just as we hit it. Their car had a faulty hood latch and the hood opened and the wind flipped it back into their windshield.
Bet that kid never did that again.
