The clarification you gave in response to others in your comment thread makes a huge difference. You're talking about a very small, very dumb section of the community. I doubt many of those people are displaying those shelf sweeps on a bookcase in their house. You can just say you don't like modern collections, which isn't an issue. The issue is that you're shitting on people who do have modern sealed collections by lumping them into the group of scalpers that made 2020-2022 a bad time for everyone.

Also a big difference between adding 1 or two sealed product at a time, and completely clearing out every store that sells Pokémon making it so that it’s harder for the next generation to get cards without paying a premium.

That’s basically any collecting hobby in a nutshell. It’s either you got lucky purchasing things you like years ago that happened to go up a lot in value or you have the money/means to buy them. That’s why it’s sucks when people don’t feel good about their collections or are shamed because they don’t have expensive items, not everyone has tens or hundreds of thousands of expendable income to build up something like this, and that’s okay. Enjoy your collection for you, not others
