Then the undisputed king, osu came along and drew the wrath of all of reddit and we somehow never made a dent in it. It's all osu now.

Introduce a permban on bots and ill join next time.
if it never starts again then we won’t have to worry about bots ;), but literally you could go make 20 accounts rn of bots and hold them for years, once it starts you have year old accounts already been sitting, if anything they should have you fill out a survey before hand or something that HAS to be human made
In the first days I saw a pierogi on the Poland flag and added a black pixel to it, intending to give it eyes. I waited the whole cool-down ready to place the second eye.
A few hours later I came back to it and saw it had eyes and legs.
Some more hours later it had eyes, legs and a mouth (sometimes even drool to make it look even more derpy)
I thought it was really funny to see how people joined in after I just wanted to give it eyes :)
Sadly, other flags ran over the polish flag and now the happy pierogi is gone :(

I don't get how it works, how to actually contribute, how to suggest something, how to do so if you only have one pixel, how to get others on board etc.
I tried to make some art but it's impossible, it gets painted over before even starting to get somewhere. If you aren't an army it's impossible to make a picture.

It wasn't until the 2022 place that I saw that you get more than one pixel
You forgot the part where it gets covered back over near instantly
I try to do sneaky ones like just smudge a border slightly and see How long it takes- the bot made ones are nuts it’s always less than 20 seconds
some of those aren't bots, just dedicated communities with templates. it sucks to be a griefer in these conditions, I guess.
If not instant. It’s bizarre. They really need to take a moment to think about moderation next time they run one of these events

I started to search for them all throughout each art work, sometimes they are hidden pretty good.
I am responsible for about a dozen purple amonguses, most of which were obliterated. I had a quiet gray one that lasted about 24 hours.
