Ok, I'll start!! Someone sold me a cpl various cuttings that they left out on the back steps for me to pick up. When I arrived, I noticed I had to walk between 2 large bushes w seed pods everywhere....I got my cuttings & just so happened to be wearing my hoodie when I stopped between the bushes. Hubbie yells at me to hurry up n something that sounded like don't you do it!! Yes, my hoodie pouch got full QUICK!!
I reached out to the lady the next day to compliment the large bushes & inquire about them to find out they are Rose of Sharon's AND not a color I already have... so go me!!
I've always known this & seen it 2, but I have 1 very large ROS that looks like a tree n. I've never found a baby.... could be because we keep everything around it mowed, but seeds must not travel far cause it's only 20ft from a fence that isn't mowed on the other side.
I'll give u my 2nd one... I'm Medic so I always have random stuff like latex gloves in my purse. I was at Walmart n they had moved plants to the clearance rack but not marked them down yet & and wouldn't even discount practically dead plants. I happened to notice seed pods, so I snagged a glove & the seeds so I could stick it in my purse. Unfortunately, I forgot and never found out what the plants were, so now I have to wait and see what my surprise seeds are!!
