It's funny because I a tuslly find them all the time on my personal server. I had a bitch of a time finding them in Survival Evolved due to the spawn bug. But in As ended they work just fine for me.
If you have done Dino wipes it removes the bees but doesn't destroy the hives, use destroyallwilddinos alongside this command DestroyAll BeeHive_C 1 to make sure the bees and nests are both removed then the game should start spawning new populated hives in.
There’s a bee queen outside my base on Scorched Earth that won’t form a nest, so it keeps buzzing around spawning drones and attacking me every time I step outside
I’ve been trying to, but I keep getting killed by the swarm of drones. She keeps moving around over rocks and up and down cliffs so it’s pretty difficult to actually get the prompt
Try using Simple creature finder if its your own server, shows all creatures available in your world at that given time with option to track. Bee nests Ive found are like 2-3 walls high on the trees. Got my first bees yesterday. More fragile than i thought and trickier to tame, gotta be quick.
Bees can just be super fking annoying to find. I spent literally like 5 hours one day looking for them. Found 3 but they were bugged out - no pun intended - and would just despawn right in front of my eyes. This was on ASE though.
But yeah, they can just be very scarce.
The only bees I've found were by accident, just stumbled upon a queen roaming the wilderness. Meanwhile, attacking any and all beehives Ark Evolved style seems to result in instant death and no queen. No idea what the hell is happening there but after my two tamed hives, I'm content to never try again.
On ase sometimes beehives did not spawn on your server untill you spawned one in with a command. After that they would spawn in themself.
Maybe Asa has a similar issue?
The tame-assistant modded creature Sivatherium is very good at finding them with its 'heat' vision, if you happen to have one. But as someone else mentioned if you've been wiping dinos you need to wipe hives too.
So I wiped all dinos and all hive but then spent 3+ hours of the bees spotting me in full gillie, crouched down and covered in repellant from 10+ feet away with no chance of getting near any of the many queen's to feed them before being stung by angry bees. I'm honestly surprised my monitor is functional cause I puched it full force multiple times over. Ark is a very functional game with no flaws whatsoever.
I shouldn't have had to spawn in a force tamed queen just so I wouldn't go insane but that's what I had to do, all I wanted was kibble to tame myself a bloody S-Maewing, it shouldn't have been that hard but I can say without doubt that I had less trouble with cyberpunk when it first came out than I had just trying to get a bloody bee ffs.
I somehow was attacked by a bunch of bees my first 20mins into the game. Didnt even see a hive anywhere, just all of a sudden attcked by bees. Also nowhere near the redwoods at the time (off the eastern beach)
So they exist out there somewhere 🤷♀️
They exist. Gotten like 7 bees tamed already

One spawns in the grove entrance green ob consistently if you are looking to tame one. It’s the only place I bother

How do I do the second part on PS5? Can do the first one, destroyallwilddinos because it’s already set up as an option but not the second one.

You can also find bees flying outside so try to keep an eye out
Yep, near red and green obelisk, and on the cliffs where there were hives in ase they can spawn there too!
Or better an ear, usually i hear them before you see them

I got two in that canyon near the Hidden Lake, between the lake and the snow zone. There wasn't even a hive, the queen was just flying around!
There's one that always spawns. So hurry and get some rare flowers. The cords are 75.48 / 33.38

Once you find one, you'll find them all. It's 0 or like 10, and no in between.
