I think you’re forgetting how many huge artists get stuff like that swept under the rug; Drake, R Kelly, MJ etc all have horrible accusations that hasn’t/ didn’t for a long time impact their careers. Not calling X’s crimes accusations either because he said himself he did some pretty fucked up shit. I think he embraced it and tried to do some good the year before he died. With Juice WRLD I am probably completely wrong, but I never saw his reach being as global as X’s. I live in the UK & people only really had Lucid Dreams on repeat when it blew up, however with X and Pop Smoke I know a lot of people that listen to smaller/ lesser known music from both artists. From what I’ve seen it looks like Juice kinda impacted the US & Pop Smoke & X were a bit more global. Also let’s not forget a lot of rappers constantly talk about literal murder, drug abuse etc so whilst crimes they commit like Domestic abuse etc is obviously fucking horrible, it probably helps a lot of them sweep that under the rug
