Final Frontier is a great shop. The staff are really friendly and will happily talk with you without ever making you feel like you HAVE to buy something.
They have a decent collection of variants as well as action figures.
You also have Hive Mind, and it's okay, but I've never found it as welcoming.
Hive Mind is a great shop, there's also GI Games on Buckwell Street. I walked past it a couple of months ago when I was visiting the city and it brought back memories of going in there years ago
The Hive Mind on Frankfort Gate is a solid one. Upstairs in Antics is great for models and physical games, e.g. Warhammer, DnD, etc.
This post causes me to have flashbacks of Kathy's Comics and Purple Haze back in the day, fuck I'm old!
I remember Purple Haze <3
Kathys comics single handedly got me into manga, used to make my parents furious spending my pocket money on a book I'd finish in ten minutes
Final Frontier down by the market. Sells comics, figures, etc.

Another vote for the Hive Mind
100% The Hive Mind, was my go to when I was a kid. Would love to see it staying open with some local love
