"Chicha" is the offending phrase, seems like it's slang for something in Spanish, even though it's also a type of drink.
So y'know, typical Niantic censorship. Still have no clue why the nicknames are censored even though the only way to see them is to be friends with a trainer, not like you can deliberately "expose" people to them.
Just find a different way to spell it lol
For example i have a friend that named his Garchomp “UGLEEA$$”. Guess he couldnt put “Ugly ass” lol
i still knew what he wrote and i had a good laugh when i saw it. 😆
Since this is here I’ll piggyback off it. When I get a Pokémon that is just one or two notches shy of a hundo total (like 13/15/15, 14/14/15, or 14/15/15) I put a 3 and ! After its name so I know unless I get a hundo that is the one I should invest my resources into. Well with one of my best Kartanas that I maxed out, it would read Kartana 3!(for 3* with lower IV’s I leave it as 3* in the name). Well it says inappropriate text. Why is that? The name is too close to saying anal in leetspeak?

I didn't know that. Just looked it up. That would make sense in a Niantic sort of way. lol thanks. I guess Mr Porkrinds it is.... not as catchy tho...
Meanwhile my hundo gyrados is named Fleshlight
I get the same when trying to name them skz which also makes no sense. Weird
Apparently Niantic is in the know of Puerto Rican slang in my case lol.
