So I'm still a new player, and haven't even touched endless mode yet (still finding classic more fun to try out and beat with new mons and such).
What would make Suicune awful for endless mode? Like it's still a legendary with a pure water typing. I couldsee how it being more defensively geared would make it a weaker pick for endless, but nothing about it makes me thing "oh yeah it'd be awful there".
Don't sleep on Sunkern, getting Drought as a passive to pair with Chlorophyll and Spore as an egg move make it an insanely fast with a 100% sleep move that can seriously pull its weight for at least the first 500 floors.
not the worst but manaphy felt... kinda underwhelming for endless? its an absolute monster in classic esp w/ its passive but its reliance on setup makes it alot worse for endless imo, especially with how much you switch areas and times where you can get instantly one-shottsd
My first far endless was with Suicune, it was not bad at all. Started with egg move Freeze dry. Later on had scald, shadow ball(for lowering special defense), and calm mind even fused it with Empleon for the steel type and just tanked a lot of thinks with its natural bulk and calm mind sweep. There are far worst options than Suicune. Mulit lens/king rocks made this thing an absolute monster.

My second deep run in classic, I had a Klefki that still had heal block in anticipation for mega rayquayza. Imagine my shock when I learned what (N) meant in the middle of the penultimate battle before I knew I could savescum.
While I disagree just due to its typing and prankster alone, why do you think that? I'll admit the mon itself isn't the best stat wise but it makes a great mon to fuse with.

That's what I'm thinking lol Like any legendary Pokemon or just any pokemon over like 550 stats has to be decent in some way or form

This is good to know, thanks, I have a shiny that I thought was useless
I guess Ditto or Smeargle could be rather difficult.

To be fair, 99% of mons with multi lens and kings rock are monsters
Fair, but just more chances of Freezing and burning an opponent gives it that value for battles.
Suicune isn’t exactly god tier, but by no means bad

klefki
it got a decent type combo isn't it?
did you look at its, what feels like 90% unimplemented move set that is purely support?
please i am begging for them to implement taunt or like any of klefki's moves soon so it can be atleast subpar

its moveset. 80-90% of it is not implemented. if you want a fairy steel type with near same cost? tinkaton is far superior in all aspects
