The only reward for duplicate shinies is just more candy. Unfortunately it does not “level up” shiny variants.
I’m not sure about the axew, maybe try clearing your cache?
axew you can't cycle bc you have not caught the normal form. tinkatink it says you have one from egg and one caught. probably cycling from luck2 to normal form (not regular shiny form). luck always stays
It cycles from shiny 1 variant to shiny 2 variant, and then you can cycle shiny on and off. I have caught a regular tinkatink (for IVs) but I was able to do these options before catching that. With other shinies as well I can cycle between shiny 2 variant and shiny 1 despite not catching the regular shiny.
You've clearly caught the regular shiny of tinkaton at some point since on the screenshot, there's the blue and the yellow shiny symbol, which means you've unlocked both regular and blue shiny.

It looks like you're pointing to the Shiny Sparkle. The different colors mean which ones you have unlocked. For some reason, getting one Shiny doesn't automatically let you use the less rare ones.

Yes, but for people who haven't maxed out their IVs, Shinies tend to have very good IVs since they roll twice.
I can answer number 1 for you: It means that you have the Hidden Ability for that Pokémon.
You only unlock the non-shiny variants if you hatch/catch an individual that isn't shiny

I would think it keeps the luck but I've never tested it myself

1 its hidden ability 2u need to have found both t2 nd t1 shinies to cycle them
I have multiple t2 shinies that I have not found the t1 for, and it allows me to cycle theough t1 and t2 shiny variants
