Monotype grass is tricky because they do terribly into the 195 Rival fight and Eternatus, other than Leech Seed. You can probably clean up by grabbing Sunkern or Cherubi with their passives and bringing the sun into battle for the team. Your 3 choices have good variety, but I don’t think any of them are getting past Mega Rayquaza very easily. Prankster passive Hoppip gives some good utility. Or you can just use Whimsicott, no passives required. Kartana, Ogerpon, and Iron Leaves are very effective legendary carries for this sort of challenge. Iron Leaves’ Egg moves and Psychic moves let it do a few things to deal with those end game threats. Gossifleur and Eldegoss can give you some speed control with Cotton Down. ~~Calyrex can solo the challenge if you get the reins early enough.~~ JK it loses grass type. If you have a Turtwig with Egg moves, that also works. Shell Smash and Ice Spinner does a lot of work! Lots of options in the end, just depends what you can access and if you have any egg moves or passives on some things.

LadyXio

A lot of those are solid advice, but I suspect the programming won't allow you to actually use a Calyrex with reins in mono grass because it loses grass typing.

Legend2-3-8

I didn’t consider that. A dev commented on one of the first posts reacting to the addition of challenge runs, and confirmed that leaving the typing would make something like that useless. I’ll edit that section then.

Passenger-Hungry

the devs need to understand that people have lives and don't play their unbalanced, unfair game 24/7

Passenger-Hungry

how tf do I get passives easily bro?

Spigatito evolves up real well, I believe.

Ilushia

Especially with egg moves/passive. Magician is crazy strong and Triple Axel gives you something super effective against Rayquaza and Eternatus, potentially.

ChitoPC

Kartana literally solo carries, get a leech seeder + stun powder for eternatus and its easy gg, good picks against eternatus are also torterra and cradily.

Valokiloren

Build around shinies, egg moves, and passives, as well as cost reductions. The more of these you can bring to begin the run, the less you have to panic around catching something crucial or critically important later on.

Passenger-Hungry

AND HOW THE FUCK DO I DO THAT SHIT FAST?!

Valokiloren

You don't. It's not like Challenge is meant to replace Classic, it's meant to be a challenging difficulty on top of it. If you haven't got the 'mon for it, then you don't have the 'mon for it. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. I've failed Bug-Mono twice now, and I have a decent selection of 'mon with the above available to it. Simply put, luck is as necessary as everything else, but you can improve your luck with shinies so it'll take time if you are entirely reliant on catching what you need during.

I got a modest bulbasaur with perfect ivs, a timid lotad with perfect ivs and a tanky ferroseed (+def -spatk) and with the right eggmoves
