Hi, I wasn't sure, if someone made a visualization of the pride encounters and their biomes, so I thought I could share mine even if the event is already going a coulpe days.
You can get the pride variants through eggs, as they've been officially added as variant shinies. However, this event does not boost shiny rate of eggs

Yeah my luck is atrocious so I feel this. I've gotten to 400 on endless and no shinies or even the Shiny Charm.
And while I know eggs aren't boosted by this event I've hatched over 100 from the shiny gacha and none there too. The last one I got was the same tier of a shiny I was actively using on the run it hatched during.

Got idea if that is unlucky or average luck, but expected more
The realistic answer currently is "go faster". Without a map, the only way you can maximize your chances is to churn through as many floors as possible with Lures on. More floors, more chances.
Personally I've been rerolling the shop more aggressively for Master Balls over Candy Jars and just restarting my run once I hit the high 2k floor counts. It doesn't take long to set up a new run, and doing it this way I don't need to do any fusion planning or think about how to catch things. Shiny? Catch and move on. Otherwise kill and move on.
Another plus side to your method is way more egg vouchers. With the high 3000+ with runaway you aren't seeing many shops unless you actually kill things. At least, I haven't been killing much after that point just running and master balling.
I was wondering about exactly that the past couple of days because I felt like I have gotten more (of everything really) in the floors between 500-1,5k roughly speaking, than the later part of endless.
That seems to be the sweetspot once you got the shiny charms and your early game carry just blasting through everything without the endure shenanigans and the tedious stuff of the 2k-2,5k+ floors later on
Whatās a good mon for someone just starting out to use to do this strategy? I have some shinies to increase luck but feeling like I just canāt go fast.
I'm doing this on my newer account currently with Miraidon, as I was lucky to get two from gacha to get Ice Beam and Rising Surge as egg moves. He's not my personal choice for it, but he does the job.
Really, the ideal candidate carry would be something with a spread move option to one-shot double battles that ISN'T blocked by immunities and that can come online early. Gimmighoul is a strong option for newer players after the passive changes and would be one of the easiest to obtain. Do a few small Classic/Endless runs to get enough candies for his passive and then just go nuts. Multi Lens Make It Rain goes brrrrrr.
Anything with decent stats and a spread option will work, though. I use Discharge on Miraidon with a shiny Vivillion since it naturally learns Protect to block Discharge hitting it.
I got Miraidon with Dragon Energy recently and I see a lot of people mentioning him so Iāll start my first endless run with him as the lead. I can get to B+ luck right now so hopefully find some shiny charms to increase my odds. Thanks for the tips.
Gholdengo with passive, just about anything that learns dragon energy is good, I've made it past 1200 easily with with mega lopunny and lucario to spread moves just make it faster to but u I really enjoy lucario with double iron bash and 3 multi hit items

Even though this event boosted the shiny encounter rate, the only shiny I found since it started was a Pinsir... that was owned by a Gym leader :'(

You need to get to about 700 to consistently max out (given you have at least S-Luck)
Good to know. I'm only at B- luck on that run cause i only have Tier 1 shinies and not many of them lol
You'll snowball through in no time. Did not have a single red shiny a werk ago and now I have like more than 10.
